Shield have been dyable for long time, why not bows quivers etc.? Google bow quiver and you will see ton of colorful bow quivers. So it's even historically accurate lol.

I want my Nord vet 16 rubedite axe to be as plain as possible. Just grey steel with some brown rust except for the edge, where it should be shining.

All weapons should be able to be dyed I think. Especially when we're stuck with bright reds and greens like these:

If it means I could remove garish colours and opt for more subtle shades, or better still a more natural appearance for particular items/materials, then absolutely. Better still to have the option for a matte finish.

I'm gonna say everything but I don't think the same colors should have the same appearance as it does on armor.

When I see ppl make furniture and darken or lighten wood or put a sheen and shine on them, that's where I'm going with this idea for bows and staves.

    Quivers .....what evs

I think dyeing weapons in general makes sense. All you need to do is filter out the colors so you cant have stupid colors being used. Only realistic colors for metals should be used.

    No.
Nope, I like the color of natural wood. Not a fan of people with hot pink battle axes running around

An alternative would be to let the natural color of the wood change depending on the material used to make it. Birch would be a lighter color, ebony darker, etc
