64BIT Client - when will the sound be fixed?

Still getting lots of static and hissing noises when using the 64 bit client, any eta on when this will be fixed? Sounds are playing all out of sync as well. It's really horrible.

I'm not seeing any pink textures so at least that has improved but it's far from playable.

That's really disappointing if it still hasn't been fixed... Hopefully at least as they called it 'particles leak' fix does work, will check it later at home.

I'm also experiencing the sound issues, and it has forced me to start playing with the sound totally off.

64-bit client is still officially in beta. No ETA on it coming out of beta.

The latest patch changes didn't fix the sound issues at all for me. I already wasn't seeing pink textures anymore but I guess some people were.

Currently the sound cuts out and lags behind in combat terribly, making it unusable.

On the upside, the 32-bit client seems maybe a bit more stable this patch.

Same, I tried it yesterday and literally crashed within 30 seconds, just by walking around in Orsinium.

Sound still not fixed?! I haven't tried the newest patch... hoping for the best. But they had 2 weeks for this to fix since the previous patch and more than a month since TG was released!

While I also consider 64bit to be beta, where does it say that it's officially beta?

Guess as long as it's not an official option in the launcher, it's supposed to be regarded as beta.

For me, the mobs don't load till a fair bit after they spawn on the 64bit client. So while it provides a higher FPS, it's unusable among over things.

Based on the loading screen issue experience, probably the major update after the next major update. But the next major update is going to introduce new major bugs which probably won't be fixed until the major update after the one after the one after the next major update.

Basically, you can't expect a major update free of major issues. Good luck with that.

Just to add my voice, I also still get the static sound (I get a massive fright every time - nearly swallow my tongue) around every 2-5 minutes.

edit - this was until I last played yesterday. I have not logged on with today's patch yet.

I would assume they got tired of people saying how great the sound and visuals were, yet always making fun of the coders.

When will literally everything with 64b client be fixed????

Yeah, the delay of sounds actually impacts my reaction time to mechanics, and as such, I CANNOT use the 64-bit client. Not sure if the delay of spawns has been fixed for me, where adds spawn and you FINALLY see them 4-5 seconds later while you are being pummeled.

Until these issues are fixed, proper testing of the 64-bit client cannot commence, as it makes the difference between a victory and a humiliating wipe.

Note: I have experienced the sound delay AFTER Tuesday's patch.

Simple answer - never. The most you can expect are workarounds and half-a$$ed "fixes".

Edit: When they say something like "this will help with the issue, but it is not finally fixed yet" - what does it actually mean?- It means, they have NO IDEA what is the actual cause, but tried some workarounds to make it less annoying. But fact is, they have no clue what is causing it, because if they would know it, they could fix it properly and not just do something what "somewhat" works.
