Getting random noises everywhere now

Prior to this latest patch, I would get random noises (wolf howls, doors closing, etc) when using certain skills like the nightblade's Dark Cloak. Now I'm just standing in Wayrest listening to different sounds going off without me needing to do anything.

I've had that since TG hit us early March.

Same. Although they are more common in delves, caves...anywhere underground for me.

    combat sound loops
Static, so bad at times i've had to log on & off to try & get rid of the sound.
Random sounds like the OP mentions

My character making screaming sounds while walking. Stopped anytime my I brought my char to a stand still, then started again once moving

Also getting weird animation glitches when mounting my horse. My char appears to be zooming across & under the map at high speed for a few seconds. (Going to try & capture it a clip of it)

    Daggers showing as a staff.

Are you using the x64 client? I only have those issues if I use that client, so I've been using the x86 client. I was going to try the x64 client in a few moments but will refrain if the sound issues are still there.
Wake up, we're here. Why are you shaking? Are you ok? Wake up...

Doesn't matter what client I use. Get them in both

It's not a bug - it's Sheogorath's blessing, and I'm more than sure it's just hidden quest just for few random players (myself included).

The bursts of white noise have been reported in the game since release: http://forums.elderscrollsonline.com/en-GB/discussion/104099/strange-sound-issue-intermittant-white-noise

I hadn't suffered from it last time I played (about a year ago) but not I get them pretty regularly; in a 5.1 sound system they're from the rear speakers.

Well, there are even more posts about this but in defense of ZOS its mostly rambling hungry hamsters that are causing the problem.
And then I googled "hamster dance" and guess what:

So I've come to the conclusion that something similar is happening at ZOS -- namely the hamsters are taking over.

I just went back to the 32 bit client and have had no noise glitches or crashes since. F that 64 bit beta crap.

I found, that this must be related to client initialization. I either have such problems or I don't. And the workaround for me is to restart the client - not just go back to the character selection screen - when I see or hear something unusual - which happens pretty quickly after I login, and when this happens, I restart the client. If I do not experience problems within the first few minutes, I can play for hours without any issues - so to me this seems to be related to the client initialization.
