Jump was fixed? how about just straightforward galloping across the landscape?

If that's fixed then this super-overly-long wait all day for the maintenance to end was a-ok by me.

I do disagree with this change noted in the Patch Notes:

Combat & Gameplay
General •Enemies in the Imperial City will no longer spawn based on the number of player characters in the area, but based on how frequently the spawned enemies are killed.

I haven't been in IC for over a month but I think the spawn rate should be reversed. The more often players are killed the more mobs should spawn. Unless you were really on your toes or if zergs came running though bombing people it could really, really get out of control fast!

Of course, they'd have to gradually disappear over time otherwise the whole place would fill up. Now that would be an exciting IC to wander into.

That could be a problem for a player if they are the only one around and they keep dying because the mob density is already too high. There's a spot in Memorial District, for instance, that if you agro a certain mob, it pulls every mob in the entire district for some reason. It could get real ugly real fast in a case like this.

And what mob would that be?

The one in the middle. You'll know it when it happens. But I could also see this being a problem in reverse, say if you are the only player in the district, killing all of the mobs and not dying. Then they wouldn't respawn fast enough possibly. IC has been pretty empty lately when I'm there so not a lot of dying going on.

This makes for better server resources and for player resources. Ppl go here for TV stones and exp so why would anyone not want to benefit from more resources to gain or accomplish their goals?

Even more...more TV stones means more profits for PvP kills

I'm not into PvP but to me this is a good change.

I was just joking. It is an amusing image to contemplate.

My guar mount can jump again and isn't quite so bad on terrain. The camel is better but by no means up to the level of other mounts. The tiger remains mysteriously unaffected by most of the movement-related problems.
