Random dungeon finder loot better than undaunted pledges

Just as a the title says, the rewards for a gold key should be better (but not by nerfing the daily dungeon finder rewards). I keep getting Vr14 gear from gold keys but I get VR16 gear from the random dungeon. As a result I see no reason to do the pledges, just que up solo for a random dungeon and get my stuff n things.

    raise your undaunted skill line is a reason.
    I don't have that issue. I get all vr though.. is your char vr 16?

    VR16 and all crafts maxed (which I know has nothing to do with drops) undaunted is level 7 so you think that is the issue? I get VR14 drops just not VR16 but the random finder gets me VR16 for the first run and VR15 for any subsequent runs.

    No, I often run 7 of my v16 toons through gold pledge (all also maxed in crafts and maxed undaunted) I still get v14 undaunted gear about atleast half of time. So I just stopped turning in keys. Saving them up til new gear comes or they fix it. I got all the boss sets I need from there. Just would like some extra ones to use on some of my toons so o don't always have to swap gera with my other toons when I use them.

    I just do the pledges for experience, the Random dungeon group gives me VR16 sets anyway, its blue for the first one and green thereafter. As long as its an armor piece, I can always upgrade it myself; what difference does it make when it take 3 blue upgrade mats and I have 4 stacks of each.
