3 Questions for ZOS.

1-Why do bows and staves give far less (if they give any at all) spell damage and weapon damage than other options (2h, dw, 1h)?

2-Why can't we respec a single morph instead of all morphs and why don't they show what rank they are when we are forced to sift through them and reselect them?

3-Why do mounts *still* randomly slow down on blades of grass in cyrondil?

That's my 3, what are yours?

    I don't know about the other 2, but the "official" position on the first question is "because range". Somehow ZOS figured that all players using ranged weapons always play at range and are always protected from nasty enemies, therefore don't deserve as much damage as the poor melee players who must fend for their lives.

    I would love to know the answers to 1 and 2.

    It would be nice to be able to select different morphs for different activities, but having to do an all morphs respec puts me off. I really don't understand why we can't just freely switch back and forth between the morphs. If I have maxed out both morphs I feel like I should be able to change at will, especially since I prefer some morphs for PvP and others for PvE, and I'm the type of player that enjoys my fair share of both (I don't just stick to PvP only or PvE only).

    And yet Snipe has the greatest range of all skills (I believe), is one of the hardest hitting single target skills in the game, and often means insta death for most players because of their long travel time and lag (i.e. four to five snipes will hit very quickly, almost at once, and due to lag you often have no reaction time and just fall over dead).

    Pretty comical, and ironic, that they nerfed staff damage because they say you should do less dmg from the safety of range, and yet Snipe has been left as is; it is basically a Wrecking Blow from 40+ meters away. Note that I am not asking for a nerf of Snipe...merely commenting on the lack of consistency in decisions and nerfs.

    1- Its due to being able to attack from a safe distance with them as opposed to a melee weapons requiring you to get up into someones face to attck were you can be hit back. Yes ranged weapons can be used in close quarters too but they hve a choice.

    2- would love this option too

    Meanwhile a sorc dwing two swords casts ranged spells that hit harder than a sorc wielding a staff does due to vastly more spell damage.

    Yah I know. I'm guessing that's sort of the angle to explain it... Still seems a bit off that ranged weapons give no spell damage or weapon damage compared to other options.

    Nor can I use Impulse (staff skill) at range.

    The ZOS justification doesn't hold water if you think about it for longer than 3 seconds.
