Can we get "V16" or "cap max" versions of Necropotence in DB, pls?

Or maybe a broader mechanic to empower all the drop sets to scale or max cap version crafting?

Or maybe milking a few older sets each DLC is anmoney maker?

Not sure but would be nice.

Necropotence is still the best way to stack magicka despite it being only v12. I don't know that it really needs to be bumped to v16. Though some more desirable traits would be nice

But cp based armor values replace them, so, no big diff if necrop still remains scaled for cp 120 traits.

Yes, it would be nice if some, or even all the sets, would scale up to max level. Would really help with Diversity.

If only this could happen; it would make a lot of people happy.

The unfortunate truth is, at least last I heard, that they are not scaling anything up to the vr16 "equivalent" (at least in terms of the new CP requirements to wear them). Many people would love this, and it would broaden the options for running a different set from virtually everyone else in the game.

It remains to be seen if they cave in on this idea. I'm not holding my breath, because the chances of them making older (non-DLC) gear available as potentially BiS items are pretty slim. They want to be careful about how much access to top-tier equipment they give to players who don't sub or purchase DLC. If they can get a set that's just as good as the new gear, there's no reason for them to buy the DLC.

The thing is, doing this would solve so many problems that we have right now, like pvpers who don't want to run vWGT for kena. That's not a criticism either, it's just the truth. Some people don't want to do pve, and some of this older gear really is quite appealing, aside from the base stats.

I'd be weary of a mass scale up in sets. I'm worried that there are going to be some OP combinations out there....

This argument has never made any sense to me. Who are these people who enjoy the game enough to obsess over min-maxing their gear, but can't be bothered to buy a DLC? I buy EVERY DLC, even the ones I think are bad, JUST so I can access all content in the game, whether or not I think I even need that content. I simply enjoy picking through all the gear sets, new and old, in order to try new combinations on my toons.

I've never heard ZOS say anything to support this argument, either. An alternate explanation (that makes more sense to me) is that they are so overwhelmed with bugs to fix and new content to build, that they can't be bothered to update old content.
