So I've just watched this video for the first time, interestingly posted on a spell craft thread.

So apart from the obvious spell craft that hasn't come into play (apparently due to a lead developer leaving?), what about these:

- Justice system, being able to play as a guard?
- Murkmire a new PVE zone of the Argonians to the right of Cyrodiil?

Have there been any similar discussions since then?

They re-evalutated the justice system and didnt found a good way to implement yet.

Murkmire will come as dlc later this year ... its not announced yet.

The second part of the justice system was cancelled because it would be too exploitable and they didn't want to do that to the game.

What little they have told us are in the "road ahead" or "year ahead" posts. Google "Eso the year ahead 2016" to find it.

For future stuff it's generally a good idea to watch ESO Live on Twitch, keep an eye on events such as Quakecon, E3, Pax, Gamescom, ect, and of course keep an eye on the forums.

Yeah I know. Twitch is not really what I was asking as it's more about what they have done and hot fixes

Still waiting on the second part of the 'new and improved' NPC animations - ie body language and the rest of the face.

It wasn't too exploitable, there's just too PvE carebears people that would cry if they got killed by another player after they went on a murderous rampage of NPCs.

It depends if you're trying to gain one of the achievements I.E get away from a guard or collect a certain amount in bounty - I think i'd be pretty tipsy if someone came along and killed me half way through

That's just the thing though. People are actively trying to avoid interaction with other players, in an MMO. Which is why ESO is feeling (and being further developed) like a single player RPG with some grouping elements.

If you wanted to go after achievements for being a thief/murderer, you should be prepared to face people trying to uphold the law. That's the kind of system that would have added so much depth and amazing gameplay.

I'd love to steal an apple with my NB, wait for a player guard to come then proceed to rek his face. Such a shame they abandoned PvP side of justice system.

They have stated all future PVP will happen in cyrodill only. PVE areas will remain PVE areas. I really cant blame them while the majority might enjoy the role play aspect of a guard/thief relationship a few will use it to grief everyone else. There is just no way to do it without problems. I cannot blame them at all for getting rid of it. You want pvp with your pve there is always IC. The person doesnt need to steal anything either for you to kill them.

Having the thieves den entrances camped by 20+ v16 enforcers 24/7 to catch anyone with a bounty would be very exploitable. You know that's what would happen. Players would be forced to log off if they had any kind of bounty whatsoever. If that happens enough, they might decide that it isn't worth playing at all.

Agreed. I know I would be pretty salty if I successfully escaped a guard only to find a zerg of guards waiting for me around the corner. The justice system PvP sounds good on paper but in reality it would be a disaster and I am glad they decided to not implement it.

I guess no one has any confidence in ZOS that they'd be able to think around that very obvious problem.
