vMOL Last Boss CRASHES

What makes you think the streamers are being heard? They aren't listening to anyone. The only thing Zos listens to is money.

Have you not seen the changes across the last 2 years based on the streaming pvp community....?

I know that, but I also know that it will not be fixed so I really do not care if it is hostile.

Those things were reported back on PTS and several times on live after it still was not fixed. My patience of being nice died after 1 year of incompetence. I do know they will prolly not even manage to fix it, I just come here to complain and that people that are new can see how broken this game is. Kappa

Unfortunately it does seem to be happening more to our group than others. Babyface Bananas had 1 crash last night. Beyond Infinity were getting them here and there according to my source, though Woeler says no crashes at all. We were consistently getting 1-4 crashes per attempt and couldn't even get more than halfway around a Lunar Cycle. I re-installed the game from scratch for Thieves Guild and I barely use any add-ons. This is intolerable.

Let me just put into perspective my effort with this game. I re-made a core in Hodor months ago so we could train in >1 year old content that bored us all out of our minds purely so we'd be ready for this new challenge. I was committed enough to put in the time and effort to take every world record in the previous content and made a team capable of getting world first clear in V16 MoL. This sounds like a real tryhard right? Someone who loves the game and is willing to put time and money into it (yes, I'm an ESO+ member paying for broken content). Well, guess what? I'm out. Guildmaster of Hodor defeated by a broken boss in a broken trial.

I may return once the trial is fixed. Until then vMOL and maybe ESO as a whole are dead to me.

Also with regards to ZOS for joining us in TS and helping a lot with fixes then. I'm trying to hold on to my faith that you will prioritise a fix in this. But all I'm thinking is that only a handful of people are able to even make it to the last boss. Why care about the experience of <50 people when you can charge thousands for a new mount?

I expect a fix next patch as it is easy to fix.

And yes, ebon/wormcult/hercine only work on 1 bar if you swap weapons really annoying and haven't checked if it is the same case with the other sets.

All im asking Zenimax, is if we're gonna put hours and hours into this game, and promote your game the way we're doing right now, then please make it worth it for us.

I've calmed down from my hissy fit now. Still feeling bitter and disappointed with the game, but we've troubleshooted a few ideas as a team to try and prevent crashes. Why is it that WE have to think up these solutions though?

We'll let you know if any of the solutions work and post results here so others can replicate to prevent crashes themselves.

I think that was less of a hissy fit, and more being frustrated that you want to quit, but there's nothing better to go to because the MMO market right now is utter crap.

Does vMOL crash more than the normal one? I did the normal version 3 times in a week with 0 crashes and the veteran one up to the first boss a couple times, again with 0 crashes.

It was a crash fest a few weeks ago, but that was fixed.

I perfectly understand the feeling though... ESO is driving me crazy right now. Blackcom can't even login anymore without crashing after 2 seconds.

Yup, it's the sharing feature. You'll only see it if you have it on and someone else in your group does also.

It's not always the same people and no, I've never crashed in the normal Trial but crashed a fair few times in Veteran.

It's like you have to wait at least one month after release for the new content to be playable like intended.
I know the crashes are another level but remember the Maelstrom Bugfest? The exploitable Boss Mechanic in vWGT? The last one they just fixed recently and ruined the Synergy System with it.
At least they stopped nerfing challenge to the ground like they did with the IC Dungeons, but I wouldn't be surprised if they just remove the meteors which are causing the crashes.

ZOS employee be like:
maybe you have bad hardware for ESO
video cards that support directx 12 ( you need to buy old directx 11 cards )
you have SSD instead of slow HDD
your processor is too fast, you need a slower one
if you play on Mac you need to switch to Windows and vice versa
you need basic net speed of 1mb/s or less
you need to run eso from the 16bit client, wait 2 years for it

Don't know who you talked to, but we had one person relog because of fps issues and that was it. We had 0 crashes at the endboss. We have had excellent raiding conditions the past few days. The reason we are not clearing it is 100% a practice issue and 0% a crash issue.
