Group tool is hilarious

Because you can queue and never ever get into a group even though you have a guild channel of 12 people selecting the correct roles to make 3 4man groups and it still does not. This is a failure of record breaking mess ups

You guys haven given us this experience boost, displayed a massive 100k exp reward for these dungeons and we can't even rig it to queue 4 people with selected roles. I dint know where to begin

Once standing in a dungeon at the very begining waiting on a healer replacement since the first healer had insta dropped, we waited for around 30 mins. Healer finally pops.

The first thing the healer says is along the lines of, wow i never thought i was going to get a dungeon ive been waiting for an hour and a half...

Since they improved it, it has been working much much better for me. But it still does funny things from timt to time.

What platform are you on?

Console unfortunately is still experiencing the bug that has fortunately been fixed on PC. Essentially - with a partial or full group the group finder goes on a small vacation before it finds you a dungeon/group.

It's been mentioned this will be fixed in the next console incremental some time this month.

Just checked not too long ago, now the estimated time is marked as "Below 1 minute".

At least we all know it is broken. A year ago, if you tried claiming that you would get 50 replies arguing with you and 50 people supporting you.

There are things to work out but it is much better than it used to be.

Even better is when you got a group of 4, balanced with 1 tank, 1 healer and 2 DDs, but grouping for a random dungeon still doesn't work all the time.

Go figure....

So can anyone link me to details about this group disaster tool? Why can't I group with 3 others and queue fit the daily random dungeon? What door knob set that restriction? Every single time I get in a group I am without tank or healer

I thought it was better before the thieves guild.it was not great or optimal but it was much better than it is now on ps4 imp (I have a tank, healer and dps and all face long ques btw)

We've had a group of four with all roles filled and it still took us 45 minutes (Xbox One NA server). It's not even worth the wait for a group let alone waiting it out by yourself.

i did a maelstrom run before i was grouped. got to love the reputation ZOS have for "making things work". this game won awards too.

i dont even know how funny that is, i have never seen the heights of this kind of comedy before. no one has.

I have never played a game that have won awards and worked flawlessly before. Never.

Yeah, I thought the group tool would be better for my dps-focused Nightblade. I logged into the game Thursday night and took me 67 minutes before I gave up and logged off. Last night, I tried again. After 40+minutes, I deleted my character and created a Templar that I plan on using as a dps, healer, and tank, just so I can get into content.

I have to go the route or I'll end up uninstalling the game. In an MMO, I feed on group content.

I love this game but I don't understand how it works. If they know there's a problem with a new patch and they fix it on pc why is the problem still there when it goes live on console? There's usually about a two week delay between pic and console. Is that not enough time to fix the problem or am I oversimplifying it or what? I honestly want to know because it seems like every time I find a bug on Xbox I come here and find out that there was an identical problem on of pc and they fixed it two months ago.

I have never played a game that have won awards and worked flawlessly before. Never.

I don't think the expectation is flawless, the expectation is for things to work after 2 years of beta and 2 years of live.

Regardless of changes and such, this tool and most of the games features tend to fail to work entirely or do not work as intended over 75% of the time since launch.

I never wait as long as you guys seem to. Stop hitting loading screens (doors and wayshrines) while you are queued. For tank queues I'm always waiting less than 5 minutes and usually less than 1. Queueing as a healer should be similar. If you are DD only, enjoy the wait.....

Sooooo I'll state the obvious. What about those random load screens you hit walking around pledge cities?
Guess I'll just avoid wayshrining or entering buildings along with walking well...anywhere.

Yeah, I get those occasionally when I roam the world. Usually just sitting at the Undaunted camp though when I'm waiting for a random dungeon, because 5 minutes lets me have a smoke/get a drink/etc.

Did it today 3 times on different toons, both with full group and with 1dps and healer to be found.

The longest wait took about 5 minutes - i guess because we were looking for a healer. They improved it greatly, since it took us 35min on average to queue into a random dungeon just a week ago.
