Okay I just got in. The latest repair has worked so try that and hopefully you too will get in. If not feel free to swear and curse it may draw some attention to this thread and someone may actually care enough to look at your issue. I notice I only got in after I said damn in a post.

We took a look, and unfortunately/fortunately (depending on what size of the fence you're on) it doesn't appear to be a widespread issue. Honestly your best bet at this point is to submit a ticket with Support so they can troubleshoot with you as we're not seeing any obvious problems. If the first response you receive isn't adequate, please reply to that ticket to re-open it rather than submitting a new ticket (this will help avoid getting stuck into an endless loop of potentially-unhelpful replies).

Actually Gina I have to disagree with your recommendation. I am currently stuck in an endless loop with your support wher I have submitted a ticket via /bug and they reply to me to submit a ticket via /bug. Now they are ignoring my requests to have the issue investigated. I have waited three days so far. If not contact is made today I am opening another ticket and will continue to do so until I am satisfied they are looking at my issue. I did not pay 5000 crowns for a banker that is continually despawning after a matter of seconds.

By the way have you considered employing people who care rather than those whose first concern is to close the ticket? I guess meeting their KPI's is more important than doing their job.

So, read Ginas' reply, and decided to try one more time...it worked and I'm in. Maybe I wore out the code with my constant play today and it just needed a rest...so weird. Anyway, thanks Gina and if I have the same problem later I'll do the ticket thing you recommended. I hope it clears up for the rest of you that have the same problem.

Every time you open a new ticket you are resetting the process. It certainly won't make it go any faster.

Make sure you're submitting a ticket from the help website, not through /bug.

I've been having no trouble logging in, but considering my ping has been fluctuating wildly between 300 and 10,000+, I almost wish I did :C

I have discovered why my ESO client stopped working. On April 2nd, the AVG virus shield was updated to version 16.61.7538. Depending on the virus shield settings, this can happen silently without the user being notified. As an experiment I disabled the virus shield and the ESO client then connected to the EU server with no problems. Disabling the virus shield is unacceptable however, so Zenimax must work with AVG to determine the root cause. I shall fiddle with the AVG settings to try to find a workaround.

AVG just started to mess with ESO login. No idea what it is, but disable AVG and you can log into ESO.
