Molag Kena breaking bug.

There is a rather annoying bug with Molag Kena that cost me a time run today and I have experienced for a few weeks now.

During the fight with Molag Kena when she goes into her bubble phase and spawns the aspects, one aspect will normally stop casting and return to an idle animation. The aspect will not have a health bar and will be unkillable. This makes the bubble phase not end as Molag Kena will be inside the bubble and invincible.

I have noticed that the glitch happens more when Kena is on the final bubble phase (28%) and also it happens more to "dead" aspects, which means when an aspect has been killed instead of exploding it will just go into an idle animation with no hitbox but still count as a live.

    This happens if you manage to kill one of the adds before they appear. Just like all summons/spawns, a mob technically exists in place before they land (see Dolmen spawning or vDSA portals for more examples). So if you're starting to aoe the area before they land and they die, they permanently bug out.

    This happens if you manage to kill one of the adds before they appear. Just like all summons/spawns, a mob technically exists in place before they land (see Dolmen spawning or vDSA portals for more examples). So if you're starting to aoe the area before they land and they die, they permanently bug out.

    They do not spawn like this. They spawn as normal casting the bubble but once they are low HP or killed they will just put away their weapon and then change animation and bug

    I am familiar with the bug, it used to happen to my group all the time since we were conditioned to kill things as they spawned (vDSA). This is what is triggering it. It's best to just not run any ground based or AoE abilities until the mobs finish spawning.

    So aoe on their spawn location before they spawn with their aoe puts them in a killed state even when they spawn with full health?

    So if we avoid damaging their spawn spots this bug will be avoided, correct?

    Correct, if you make sure to only hit them once they've actually spawned and are targettable, you shouldn't have any issues.

    Correct, if you make sure to only hit them once they've actually spawned and are targettable, you shouldn't have any issues.
