This is not whether you like AOC as a game or not but many people know it had a horrific launch and lost much of the playerbase and never got them back. I started playing probably 12 months after release when it was fixed and had an incredible time in it.
But here is his quote and it is dead on ""The client did leak memory when it launched, and we had some severe issues on certain machines with people running out of memory and crashing to desktop fairly regularly, and that was the very first thing we did when we took over the team... if people can't play, then everything else we do is kind of irrelevant."
Fixing the game has to be first priority period or you will lose the playerbase and now its even leaked over to PVE.

✭Sounds like an issue he could fix in ESO. This game has been leaking memory since launch, and it gets worse with every update. Fingers crossed they plug the holes and optimize soon.0
