How to avoid Main Quest for X-time?

Is there any way to avoid doing the same quests from Main Quest, multiple times on all alts?

I levelled another 3 alts to vet1 and wish to jump straight to veteran areas from Caldwell silver/gold, without wasting time on the story I already know.

Any way? I can even pay in gold or crowns :).

No. You must ride the rollercoaster every single character. Every single time.

    Bad design, amirite?

Just grind a character to Vet Ranks, once you do that, then the Silver and Gold zones unlock and you need never touch the main quest, or any other quest for that matter. This is a good week to do that with the Jubilee Cake, probably take less than two full evenings to get to 50.

I hit v1 two days ago on doing so I could port to both silver and gold Main zones and I've not even started the main quest

Thx, I'll probably use your tip since clicking the same multiple texts for the x-time bores me too much.
And I hit vet1 too, just today with another from my 8 chars, so...

And btw, if I hit vet1 and wish to grind more, what area should I choose for best results? I mean which map, not grinding spot. Should I start with vet1 map or go already to vet 3 or even vet5?

You get Exp from any mob L46 and over as a Vet. But it falls off as you over level but you still get Exp even at VR16 with VR1 mobs. So, I would grind on V1 mobs until V3, then V2 or V3 mobs until V5 etc. It all depends on where the grind spots are for each level. Some are much nicer to grind than others.

However, I have gone from VR1 to VR3 in just a couple of hours grinding on the zombies in Coldharbor so that is some place to consider too at early Vet Ranks. And this was not with any potions or scrolls or anything like that.
