Surge Heal with Daedric Mines

The surge crit heal doesn't work with Daedric Mines when not morphed to instant activation (since it does not work for DOTs, just like Daedric Curse).

Can somebody confirm, that Surge Critheal does work with the mines when they are morphed to instanc activation?

Since vulcanic Rune doesn't work, too, i guess that no version of Daedric Mine will work.

Would be still great if someone can check this.

The base skill of Daedric Mines is labeled as DOT and does not proc healing from Crit or Power Surge.
Same counts for Daedric Curse, Proximity Detonation and Volcanic Rune.

Have a look at the passive abilities of the sorcerer class skill tree, from which you picked up Daedric Mines!

@Francescolg: what are you talking about? The blood magic passive heals me, yes. But i am talking about the ability surge.

The blood magic passive is strong enough! I don't care at all, if Daedric Mines works together with Surge or not, as the passive skill's healing is GOOD AND STRONG. That is my personal opinion!

Mines has a cast time or channel time whichever way you want yo verbalize it.

It gets buffed by thamaturge it's considered a DOT and doesn't proc surge or crit surge.

Nobody beeing responsive to the instant-morph still makes me paranoid, but i assume that all three versions count as dot.

Case closed.

Since Francescolg already wanted to talk about blood magic:
The heal does not trigger when the taget dies from the damage of that hit. Tested crystal Shard and Daedric Mines.

Thaumaturge: Fixed an issue where this Champion ability was increasing the damage of various non-damage over time effects, such as Daedric Curse or Magicka Detonation.

Known Issue: Currently, Thaumaturge is still increasing the tooltip values of those abilities. This will be fixed in a future PTS patch.

So they are no dots anymore. Guess surge still won't work.

I tested both morphs, none gave heal on critsurge, but thaumaturge increased their dmg.
