So, an assistant or memento i want would be the equivalent of a portable, personal wayshrine spot.

Full function version, it creates a wayshrine that stays at the spot my char is at for say 30m.My chari can use it to come or go. Since it is a full wayshrine , it ree both ways.

Minimal version: it creates a wayshrine MARKER st the locationmy char is at for 30m. So i can warp for 146gp to an existing wayshrine but then popping back to it from an existing wayshrine is free.

NET RESULT, if char is in the boonies, i can warp home *and* back avoiding having to retread the same ground between current location and the closest wayshrine.

of course the appearance if an assistant would be a little mage type, portalling in and making portals on demand that tie-in with existing wayshrines. if a device, maybe a pedestal glowing and stuff like the cake but with arcanery.

I WOULD PAY FOR THAT - its all about more time doing the fun and less time between the doing of the doing the fun.

Would you other folks like to have one of these?

Would you crown for it?

Mo. bankers are already too powerfull... i understand now why the 5000 crown price for the current 2 one. this would be too. But! just but! if this only would be one way a one way ultimate to alliance main cities then would be great. ofc. could cost like 1000 ultimate xD.

10k crowns and can only travel to the Harborage. That gives you three zones for the destination.

As has been pointed out, wayshrimes are usually nearby. We can also travel to a guild mate for free. Not much real need for such an item.

Why not just "travel to player" on anyone in any of your guilds, then you are instantly at a wayshrine you can use to go anywhere.

I had an idea a while back for a thing I called "Wayshards"

I've been mulling over the types of things ZOS could add to the Crown Store to bring in revenue and I recently wondered about a portable wayshrine shard.

It would be cool if this were incorporated into an in-game quest line where a player learns that destroyed wayshrine pieces called Wayshards retain part of their teleportation properties, they just need to be revived by an enchanter in the Mages Guild.

Players should be able to take the Wayshards from a destroyed Wayshrine and have them revived by an enchanter. This quest should have a 96 hour cool-down to where one player can't make more than one every 4 days. Wayshards, dead or revived, should be able to be sold or traded. Once they are used, they are consumed.

Wayshards, not being as powerful as Wayshrines, should only be able to teleport players to anywhere within the same Zone, but the teleportation should be independent of the presence of a Wayshrine. In this way they offer additional functionality that is not currently present in ESO.

If a player is in a dungeon, or underground in any way, the Wayshard should place the player outside of the dungeon at the entrance.

Alternatively, players could buy Wayshard stacks from the Crown Store. As many as they want, as often as they want. No cool-down whatsoever.

EDIT: A post by @harvey.wastasecootb16_ESO gave me the idea that Wayshards should allow players to teleport anywhere and they should drop players outside of dungeons.

What ESO really needs is an Auction Horse.
