We get so many cool disguises in the game but cannot wear them in combat because they will be lost. It would be nice to have a feature that converts the disguise to a costume.

Silivren (Silly) Thalionwen | Altmer Templar | Magicka | 9-Trait Master Crafter/Jeweler | Master Angler | PVE Main - Killed by U35
Jahsul at-Sahan | Redguard Sorcerer | Stamina | Werewolf - Free Bites | PVP Main
Derrok Gunnolf | Redguard Dragonknight | Stamina | Werewolf - Free Bites
Liliana Littleleaf | 9-Trait Grand Master Crafter/Jeweler (non-combat)
Amber Emberheart | Breton Dragonknight | Stamina | Master Angler
Vlos Anon | Dunmer Nightblade | Magicka | Vampire - Free Bites
Kalina Valos | Dunmer Warden | Magicka | Vampire - Free Bites
Swiftpaws-Moonshadow | Khajiit Nightblade | Stamina
Morgul Vardar | Altmer Necromancer | Magicka
Tithin Geil | Altmer Sorceress | Magicka
Dhryk | Imperial Dragonknight | Stamina

They should give a costume version of the disguise as reward for the quest involving using the disguise.
Just so that everyone knows, my Altmer still can't have black hair. About a dozen of Altmer NPCs in the game have black hair. Just saying.

    Meet my characters:
    Command: Do the thing.

Zadarri, Khajiit Fist of Thalmor: The thing was done, as commanded.
Durza gra-Maghul, Orc blacksmith: The thing was done perfectly, in the most efficient way.
Tegwen, Bosmer troublemaker: You can't prove I didn't do the thing.
Sings-Many-Songs, Argonian fisher: Sure, I'll do the thing... Eventually. Maybe.
Aerindel, Altmer stormcaller: After extensive research, I've come to the conclusion that doing the thing would be a waste of resources.
Liliel, Dunmer pyromancer: Aerindel said I shouldn't do the thing. Something about "resources".
Gyda Snowcaller, Nord cryomancer: I will find a way to do it that won't waste resources and make Aerindel proud of me.
Beatrice Leoriane, Breton vampire: I persuaded someone else into doing the thing. You are welcome, dear.
Sahima, Redguard performer: Doing the thing sounds awfully unpleasant and really not my problem.
Ellaria Valerius, Imperial priestess: I'll pray to the Eight for the thing to be done, if it is Their will.

You can wear it in combat. You cant wear it in combat during the quest which requires the disguise to be used. But yes, make them collectibles so they dont take up space in the inventory.

    Agreed.

i have one char who kept all the disguises and still uses them for fun and giggles.

make them AFTER THE QUEST collectables rewards sounds like a great idea.

But start with the VOSH RAHK and me now, maybe yesterday, please. -)

Completely agree with this. Lots of good disguises to pick up throughout the game. Put that in my costumes tab and save me like twenty bank/inv slots.

Actually you can wear the disguises in combat - outside their quest areas they should function just like costumes.

But... they still take up valuable inventory space. And if you forget where the quest areas for it are, you can loose one accidentally...

It has been mentioned several times before, that it would make a LOT of sense for them to remove the disguise from your inventory with the completion of the matching quest, and unlock a costume with the same visuals. Would not be too hard to implement, and free up quite a bit of inventory space for those who like to go "undercover"...

I agree. Once the quest has been cleared you should be able to keep the disguise as a costume. (Its not as though you need the disguise any more, and it just hogs inventory unnecessarily).
