Should ZOS leave the Cake?

I know it maybe asking alot from ZOS, but wouldn't keeping the "Cake buff " be a clever compromise to appease those who wanted Vet levels removed while maintaining what many of us earned through dedication and love for this game.

If it fits within their marketing model, then I wouldn't be surprised to see it remain as a permanent item. Eventually everyone will reach the CP gap though. Sure some will reach it sooner than others, but it's inevitable. MMO's granting a path for a player to immediately hit the level cap or get close enough to partake in end-game content isn't an uncommon tactic. It brings in new players and makes them a little extra money.

To be honest whether or not they leave it or take it, I'd much rather see ZoS put efforts into fixing the persistent problems that plague both PVP and PVE in terms of performance and balance. Someone getting a little extra CP boost is at the bottom of my barrel of worry.

I'm okay with this I've always loved the Vet Ranks. Don't be mistaken by my only VR16 since I have had her for years and play her the most. My near VR15 that I rarely play has in no way felt like a drag to level up.

Had to chuckle when I heard the buff was in the form of a cake, I was immediately reminded of the callous remark supposedly made by Marie Antoinette towards the starving peasants on the eve of the revolution.

I just figured until they actually implement Vet removal there's still a chance to avoid it. The Cake seems like the best tool to give everyone on both sides of the debate a chance to get what they want without spoiling anything.

I hope ZOS at least considers this option.
