I went to Chef Dingdong for mah cake and he was all like "hurr durr I no give de cake to anybody" so i gives him mah voucher and thinking i are special with my rare cake. Turns out everybody and their milkdrinking cousin also has the cake. What is the meaning of this blasphemy

    Now that you mention it... yes, you REALLY should have been the ONLY one from the entire playerbase who gets the cake.^^

    This amused me.

    "Even if they gave everyone free cake someone would complain" has been a common saying for me on MMO forums. So naturally I came here to see how people managed to be annoyed with free cake, and the first topic I see, right at the top of the forum is this one.

    It actually is possible, and believe it or not I've done it. Back when I worked in a video game shop we had a buy 1 get 1 free clearance sale on older (mostly terrible) games.

    I forget why but some woman wanted to return her free game (it was one of those 'lowest priced item is free' things so it was quite clear which one was the freebie). I spent a good 10 minutes trying to explain to her that it was free and she wouldn't get any money for it, but she insisted and really wasn't happy until I'd taken the game and she had a receipt saying she'd paid £0.00 and £0.00 had been refunded onto her card...

    How do I know if the ingredients were not harvested in Valenwood? Besides, it wasn't even that sweet.

    My Bosmer is offended.

    My Khajiit isn't offended enough, but give her time.
    Just so that everyone knows, my Altmer still can't have black hair. About a dozen of Altmer NPCs in the game have black hair. Just saying.

    Liliel, Dunmer pyromancer: Aerindel said I shouldn't do the thing. Something about "resources".
    Gyda Snowcaller, Nord cryomancer: I will find a way to do it that won't waste resources and make Aerindel proud of me.
    Beatrice Leoriane, Breton vampire: I persuaded someone else into doing the thing. You are welcome, dear.
