What was the reasoning behind the 'if you die, you will have to go eat the cake again to get the bonus' in the Jubilee cake? If we use or eat xp scrolls or psijic pots and die, we don't have to use them again to activate them. Why should the Jubilee cake be any different? I genuinely don't understand why ZOS had to make it pain in the ass for everyone. Any other game that has XP week, its automatically on until the week ends, why didn't ZOS have this approach?

I think its not working and the buff was intended to stay if you die not go off.like the whole dying take its off thing probably wasn't for-seen, intended or even tested it looks like at this point.

This really isn't an issue for anyone.

The issue is the cake not stacking, which is being resolved as we speak.

It doesn't work like that. You have to go to the bakers location to enable the buff again. So if you are in Cyro, and die. Guess what, you have to travel to the baker to get the buff.

Because of this we can't use the boost in Cyrodiil because you can't activate your momentos in Cyrodill. Kind of a big deal for PvP players.

Obviously the main issue being that it doesn't stack, but also the re enabling the buff after each time you die is a pain

You have to keep activating it?

It's on a 2 hour timer. If you die, the buff gets removed.

However; there are unlimited uses to it. Should you die, or should the timer run out, simply go into Mementos in your Collections, and reactivate the Cake.

It's really not that hard, especially since we're getting double XP for a whole freaking week from the thing.

The fact that having to reactivate it every so often is what is making people's buttholes pucker... that just blows my mind...

You don't have to go back to the baker, but you do have to leave Cyrodiil, which is a pain.

I'm not sure if you understood my previous reply but lets assume you didn't. If you are in Cyrodil during prime time and there is a long que to get to your main campaign, once you get in and die the buff gets removed. You cannot reactivate it via Collections. So you have to leave Cyro, go to the bakers location and enable it from there. This is pain in the ass by definition.

Just tested it, after 10th try it works outside of Cyro without having to go to the baker. Clearly something is wrong with this

I couldn't agree more on the pain in the ass, I mean that has to suck hard to have to keep doing that over and over again.

Why are you "eating" scrolls OP? That isn't healthy. More on point though, It might be unintended.

its not so bad
you can equip it to your hotbar
it literally just takes you pressing up on a d-pad or your potion key after you die

Bruh... As a PVP'er in this game...? I'm used to being crapped on by ZOS. It's one of those things were as you get your daily dose of abuse and mistreatment, then carry on about your regular day... Only to cry about it when no one is around.

I was confused about it too but after my character gets happy and celebrates as soon as I pull the cake out I do too! xD

At least on Xbox: just set it to a hotkey like you would a potion. And just to be safe check your character screen to verify the buff is applied before turning in quests.
