Can't start Cadwell's Silver~

Hi all.

I was hoping you could help me figure out if I'm doing wrong or if it is a bug.
I completed the Epilogue and then Cadwell asked if he could have a word. I completed the dialogue where it's time for me to port to my first VR region which Ebonheart and so he says to touch the light of Meridia. Now when I do touch the light of Meridia, it ports me.........outside the door.....of the cave where I was just standing in. I can't manually port as it says "Your attempted jump failed because you have no unlocked that level of difficulty". Now it all seems quite straight forward to me up to this point...but am I doing something wrong or is this a bug? I have sent a ticket to ZoS but nothing yet and I'm a little frustrated at being /stuck as it were.

Any advice/info would be welcome and apologies if this has been covered elsewhere.

So, your just standing there or at wayshrine, do you have a Wayshrine shown as unlocked in Davon's Watch?

Are you VR Ranked? Have you completed the Main Quest? VR Rank should be enough if you have not finished the MQ, but they recently fixed an issue that would not let you port if you have done the MQ and are not VR Ranked. Perhaps that update has not made it to the consoles yet.

Currently standing outside the Harborage in Auridon yes. A kind fellow offered to try to port me to Stonefalls and had the above message. I also have a wayshrine available in Stonefalls and Glenumbra but I can't port there as I also have the above message.

Nope, I did try and see if that option was available also. I'd probably settle for that at this point but no, not an option.

I would bet this is the issue. @Vanhelm are you on console, and have you reached VR levels yet?

I am VR 3 and am on PC.
