I have 441 skill points total atm on my main.

I'm currently missing 1 point from Grand Overlord rank 2 and the mages guild questline I saved Valaste so I never got those 2 skill points. I believe the current max SP should be 444 atm then.

You can miss 2 skill points for Mages guild questline? What if you buy the Mages Guild skills in store? I did mine years ago, I don't remember this at all.

Buying the Mages Guild line doesn’t complete the questline for you, so it doesn’t grant or take away the skill points for it. You could buy it to open the abilities, then do the questline and still get those 2 points at the end. Just like buying the Alliance line — it opens the skills but doesn’t actually rank you up, so you don’t get any of the Alliance-related skill points until you earn the necessary AP.

Pretty sure I have 428 on my main....have to double check that though. (there are 3 you can't get, because you have to choose between idetic memory and two skill points, and they've given a freebie skill point to players that start in Vvardenfell/Summerset that you can't get if you created your toons before then.)

.....wait, we just got two more skill points, so I should be at 430 I think....will check and post back.

Urich's skill point finder add-on says there are 442 possible skill points.....I have 441...not sure how the math is working on that, have to look into it a bit further.

I've just checked myself and Urich's skill point finder add-on says that there are 442 for me also.

I don't have any of the new dungeons yet... but I have 393 points.

As my character was created before Morrowwind I don't get the points from the Morrowind, Summerset and Elsewhere starting lines as I got the one from the Wailing Prison.

Technically there are 441 skill points then available to me.

EDIT:

You only get 1 skill point from the starting area... whether that be the Wailing Prison, Morrowind, Summerset or Elsewhere

If that toon is pre-Morrowind, there is a tutorial skill point you can’t get. In Urich’s list the tutorial skill point appears in the top left corner as “Morrowind character,” “Summerset character,” and “Elsweyr character.” They’re mutually exclusive, and if it’s a pre-Morrowind toon you will see all of them at 0/1.

There is no skill point for the original base game (pre-Morrowind) tutorial, which was in the Wailing Prison. Characters who were created without one of the chapters being owned on an account will never be able to reach the same number of skill points as those who went through a chapter tutorial.
