What causes group finder to add 5-7 players in a random over and over again (Xbox One)!

Just curious as this happens a lot but only since TG release update. Often it's not even tank, healer and dps.

Adding videos so ppl understand as well as so @ZOS_GinaBruno and others can share with their teams for quality control. The game is adding more than 4 consistently and not just randomly. This has occurred consistently all week multiple times on three different characters solo or while grouped

    I'd like to know this too.
    Plus, everytime this happens I get stuck in the group (even if there's no one anymore) and I can't leave.

    It stays like that for about 15 mins.

    People crashing prior to getting into the dungeon then they relog and the group is larger.

    Why people still use group finder is beyond me. It's never been anything but a buggy mess from the beginning and still remains that. It actually gets worse with time too as more and more problems spawn from it.

    Last time I used Group Finder was a few weeks ago to do Waywest Sewers for the pledge, it got me a 3 man group and the forced into dungeon timer started up. The other 2 players left the group so I figured I'd try it again. I couldn't because, for some reason, the timer for the dungeon had continued despite the group more or less disbanding, and wouldn't let me queue again. So I just waited for the timer to force me in the dungeon and I'd just leave but instead of that happening the timer RESTARTED after reaching 0. I decided to port to the dungeon and see if that would fix it. Nope. Now, whenever I tried to leave the dungeon, it would instant port me back in. I just logged off after that.

    Never again will I use Group Finder. Now, I just pop into any of the my guilds' LFG chats and off I go.

    I use the group finder for my vet pledges ;) it more fun that way

    Because of the huge exp and set item rewards. Why not especially on an alt as it's much more efficient than spamming if on PC chat text or standing around.

    I've had this happen on PC/EU. Queued for random dungeon. Group had 6 people. 1 was offline, another was outside the dungeon.

    Incidentally, once again the tank wasn't really a tank. He said he was "testing" a hybrid build, but spent the whole time spamming 2-h heavy attacks and wrecking blows. We need a way to "downvote" people who queue for roles they can't fill.

    No I'm asking why it groups 5,6 and eve 7 online players who all want to do their roles and sometimes it chooses 6dps and 1 tank or 7 dps and ppl are stuck outside the dungeon but in the group. Then when they leave it replaces them with others keeping it over 4 players
