Anniversary xp bonus stacking: Additive or multiplicative?

When I combine my cake with a 50% xp buff, will it result in 250% total xp (100% + 100% + 50%) or in 300% total xp (100% * 1.5 * 2)?

EDIT: I obviously meant 250% total xp, not 250% buff. Sorry for the confusion.

Gina explained in some post long time ago that exp is additive.

Very interested to know this as well. Have many alts I would like to level during this time. The shorter amount of time I have to take on each one the better.

After actually reading the article again and looking at all other XP buffs in game, it seems like it would be additive not multiplicative. Would like clarification though.

It should work so we get a total of 150% buff (not sure where 250% buff is coming from).

100% + 50% = 150%

Butt with Zos math it may be 100% + 50% = .25% buff.

I assume OP is calculating for the starting 100%. You get 100% XP without ANY buffs, then add the extra 100% from the Cake then anotheer 50% from Potions/Scrolls. Hence 250%.

No, what you are doing is counting form 1 to 10 but counting 1 as well. Its not correct math.

I tell you 1 thing tho, you could get up to 170% xp bonus if you have the cake, xp scroll, eso plus, ring of mara.

Then if you have 170%, and you are enlightened and grinding CP, you could have up to 680% because the enlightenment gives you xp at 1/4 of the cost. So 170x4=680.

It'll be additive. They almost never (intentionally) do compound.

I counted the xp, not the buff.

Base XP (100%) + Cake (100%) + ESO+ (10%) + Ambrosia (50%) + 2xMara (20%) + Cyrodiil Bonuses (15%) = 2.95x bonus.

Either way, with all bonuses you are looking at about 2.6x-3x XP multiplier.

But, if I read it right, when you eat the cake, everyone in your group gets the buff. So... If you have a full raid group, is it 2400%?

I guess the buff will not be stackable, as all other group buffs.
