I did a small amount of testing tonight. The sample size is fairly small since we are dealing in percents but I can't count lines any more tonight.
I used FTC addon to print out the combat log on the screen and counted the passive pet heal on itself since it occurs every two seconds.
During the first 2 Tests I had 65.% spell crit chance. This includes the Thief Mundus and Major Prophecy from the Inner Light. 5 Piece VR16 Gold Julianos Divines. and other armour gold divines also but with out any crit % set bonuses on them.
The DoT CP tree effects pet based AoEs I believe, @SmalltalkJava knows for sure. Their crit rate is your crit rate. Crit modifiers do not effect pets crit damage however.
Ok? So what about in regard to heals? Cause I've seen both the clannfears over time hp regen crit and the ability heal crit. On both me and the clannfear. So I guess I'm just curious on if a crit build would benefit a pet sorc. Cause if so I could replace my champion points into crit damage vs magic, flame, ice, shock damage. Also so just to clarify, the clannfears hp is based on level?
I haven't done any true testing for crit related pet stuff. Its on my to do list though. Their crit is very useful though. I'll have to think up some tests for it.
Pet hp is based off your level. For cp, elemental expert to a good level and some in theurg dot enhancement if you use the pet pbaoe or curse or other dots. for straight pet pbaoe effect 50/50 split in elements and theurg gave higher damage than all in one or the ither
