This should be a thing, there are certain bosses where you need to know the mechanics of the boss or you will screw up, for example vet banished cells last boss a lot of people do not understand that if you're put in a bubble you in to go to one side of the room to get rid of the negative effect.

I think instead of this, they need to change the intro undaunted quest into a mini dungeon that shows new people the ropes of group play in dungeons. If we had what the OP said then the game would be just going through the mechanics instead of finding new and better ways to beat each boss.

This is the first MMO I've ever played, he'll I used to make fun of WoW players to no end.... Moving on, I learned. No one held my hand, no one explained the game to me. I figured it out. I learned from mistakes, took mental notes on boss fights/dungeon mechanics. Here I am today, maybe 6 months in, and I know quite a lot. It's simple really....play the game, and you will learn the things that need to be learned.

I agree with bigted209, play the game to learn it. If you are new to a dungeon, just say so, someone in your group most likely will give a brief overview of how to do it and if they don't they are just jerks making things harder on themselves.
