Synergies after Thieves Guild

Am i the only one having problems getting a synergy option to pop on my screen?

Most notably for me are novas and standards. I read in the patch notes that there should be a wider radius, but consistantly since update i have not been able to get a synergy ui to pop on my screen, or rarely when i am in one particular position of the standard/nova (after circling around it, stepping through it etc.)

Anyone else?

It's honestly impossible for me to tell one way or the other with the constant lag in PvP.

I have actually been getting them more frequently than before.

I have also noticed this, it seems that synergies in general flash up on screen quicker than they used to and also if you move they disappear then reappear again constantly. Is extremely frustrating in trials and group dungeons. I notice this the most with necrotic orbs, banners and novas.

Actually, now you mention it, ive had trouble using the synergy on mystic orb since the update

It feels like I have to dance around to get the synergy to pop up and when it does finally show the slightest bit of movement makes it disappear. Kinda annoying when you are trying to use shards, orbs is the worst.

Purify seems to pop up a lot in pvp, but no more or less than it used to. I have my activate synergy bound to scroll wheel down, so whenever I hear the ding or see the notification I scroll down and it seems to work reliably. A few times I have thought that I might be getting the synergy notification while outside the perimeter of purifying ritual. Maybe the radius extension screwed something up, like it left a hole in the middle or something.

Ive bound the synergy button to my scroll wheel but even with constant scrolling I often have trouble activating the synergies.

You can see the synergy pop-up but it just doesnt activate instantly.

Well i am glad at least that i am not the only one, but it is extremely frustrating. I have better luck with atronach, but maybe thats cuz crown is adamant i use it lol

Maybe we have to be standing still to use it now and thats why i cant get it? I will try your theory about movement @Ajaxduo

For me sadly by the time i get ui to pop, if i do, the ulti is gone

I believe so, for some synergies they are incredibly sensitive to movement whereas synergies like purify and shards 'stick' to your character.

I am never quite sure when I fire off a synergy. However lately, I have noticed that the Indicator does not seem to stay up as long. I put it down to someone else in the group taking the synergy. I will be doing some group stuff tonight, I will have to pay attention to it.

I thought the same thing when I was running in a 24 man trial I chalked it up to someone else, but recently I have been farming in a duo and my DK friend cant activate his own....

I will try standing STILL tonight when it go to activate and see if I can get it.

I've been having issues since Wrothgar was released.

It may flash for a second, but will disappear as just as fast, and I won't be able to interact with it.

I really try to use them but all I'm doing is lowering my DPS or HPS because I stop what I'm doing in order to tap "X".

Thats what's so frustrating Synergies should be a DPS increase, not decrease
