Ok I'm currently leveling up a Stamina Nightblade, level 19, but I'm kind not wanting to level up to 50 and start vet levels again. So I want to go back to my Magicka Sorc who is Vet 6. But I was liking using DW or 2H for my DPS. I know I am going to lose range without the dest staff but I can use other spells from the trees for range, like Crystal Frags, Curse, Entropy.
My question is would it be worth it to respec and use DW or 2H for my sorc? I assume I am going to have to re do my attributes and split them up between magicka and stamina correct? I'm kind of looking to shake my sorc up a bit from the staff. If anyone else has done this successfully I would like to hear about it.

✭✭✭If it is something that interests you and will be enjoyable and challenging, it's worth it regardless of whether it's as "efficient" IMO.
I have overhauled chars with respec or reskill train many times, even discarded two vets for restart to raise back to vets. Never regretted once, even the ones that didn't work out.
I see a number of Stam sorc threads so it seems viable and interesting. I am looking to respec my second sorry and really seriously considering stam.
