@ The Devs - Is Lotus Fan Broken?

What is wrong with lotus fan or combo with fear and lotus fan that makes it unbreakable?

So far I have had this happen countless times i have plenty of stam and somehow i cant break free and cast rapids/shuffle.

INSTEAD I'M just Sitting there on my ass???

How many other see this happening?

Devs are you aware of this?

all the time ... they should know after ... a few hundred or so tickets.
Fixing exceed their skill level, obviously.

They got trouble with getting "Hello Tamriel" to work, so stay tuned

Yeah, encountered it today while on my templar, but luckily I was in my House™ with HoT's stacked up so the NB didn't do much damage, as soon as I broke out of the fear "eventually" he cloaked and ran, never to be seen again as his gank attempt failed.

Many things cause unbreakable CC, not just NBs things.

Mostly NB things as they have access some of the most powerful mechanics-all-in-one class

I was in IC in small scale pvp like seven vs seven vs seven and I was fighting four to five at a time and winning. The moment a NB with lotus plus fear showed up it was over. I would get stuck. Then at times skills that I would use would not react after said combo.

Nothing against nbs as I have one myself and love her but there is so much wrong at this point that we just need new devs to take over. They are no longer able to maintain or keep up with the bugs and if they fix some even more come to fruition.

Fear is the fakking worst. The most infuriating CC in the game by far.

Fear seems to be the only CC that, even with full stamina, I cannot break out of. May be others; just don't remember encountering them

It feels like whenever I fight a NB, they run away, or they Fear me into a rock.

Any slow, root, or immobilize followed by hard CC in particular fear causes fits with the games coding.

Lotus Fan has a snare built in plus the gap closer root.

Add fear and your standing around for four seconds plus getting your ass kicked.

There are videos explaining how to do this dating back for over year

Cc break and cloak seems to be broken this patch, the dot on lotus fan keeps pulling me out of cloak, i thought cloak was ment to suppress dots? I also get dark flared, whilst in cloak.

That's because both Lotus fan and Dark flare have secondary AoE effects while being single target skills, which seem to pull you out of stealth and even go through rolldodge. You cloak and/or dodge the initial attack, but the secondary effect hits you regardless. Been so ever since launch whether intentionally or a bug, it's a good counter to cloak spammers.

More of a l2p deal I think. I am a NB with lotus fan and fear I die all the time. Those guys must know something you guys do not. You cant just come to the forums screaming for nerfs when you get beat. Figure out a way to get around it.

Dude you do not understand the problem obviously...

When u do soft CC followed by a Hard CC it becomes UNBREAKABLE!!!! U can have full stamina and hit break free for days but it wont break the CC.

Its NOT A L2P issue its a Broken GAME MECHANIC...

There are many bugs the devs have never acknowledged to be bugs, and they have never discussed many of the numerous CC problems at all. Search back through months and years of forum posts about "unbreakable CC", and you will find that the devs never comment on this issue.

It's not Lotus Fan the bug is caused by getting hard CCed while you already have a soft CC on you. What happens is the game reads them both is needing needing two different CC breaks.

I.e. If you are snared or rooted you have to roll, but if you are stunned or Knocked down you can't roll. But you have to roll before you be CC break it's the code not just Nightblades this is doable on all classes. Misinformation helps nothing

Nightblades lack heals and shield so we got a powerful CC and escape power. Nightblades burst builds are normal we were designed for that other classes going pure damage die cause they actually have class defenses and don't use them.

DKs lack heals so we get no escape power and broken cc. DKs burst builds... wait .. Dot builds are weak and designed for that. DKs have class defenses and dont use them like.... igneous shield number 1 op defense.

is everyone now pretending that the unbreakable WB CC never happened? Yup, CC break is mega bugged.
