I think it's the other way around... they looked way better in Skyrim. In ESO their snouts (or whatever its called) are all so extremely short and make everything look awkward. Khajiit have the exact same problem, just not as noticeable. That is their price for being able to wear thieves masks.

There is your answer as to how to make them look better. There are of course far better pictures coming from mods but they weren't forum friendly and I wanted to point out the big difference to ESO argonians and the compromise they had to make in order to wear masks and helmets.

Also, "Calling a race ugly is just plain racism."? No, I think that's called an opinion. If a race like argonians is ugly to someone then that's how it is. Why should that person lie to themselves?

I don't know if some people are joking but when OP asks for pretty argonians and you post pictures that completely cover the head or put on dro-m'athra skin it defeats the whole purpose of this thread. Same with these pitch black pictures.

For me it's a plus. I'd like more non-human races in TES, but it's not in the lore, so well... xD I'm happy that we have 2. =D

Sweet Mother of all things sacred. Some people are just so desperate to throw the race card around nowadays they will even use it as a means to garner some sort of moral one-upmanship when discussing mythical lizards (cats have also been mentioned too) in a game. It's akin to calling someone a racist because they think spiders are ugly. Only, spiders are real, Argonians, well, I don't really need to press that point further.

Dragons are ugly, not my type, wouldn't take one home to meet my parents etc. Oh noes, I'm now a racist purely going on some of the logic within this thread.

So about that topic, I personally do not feel attracted to Argonians, although I do enjoy muscles as much as the next person. It's easier for me to consider them cool-looking or badass or cute than strictly attractive.

Argonians can be lovely people though, and I did take Walks-Softly with me to crash that wedding. He was so excited about the free food.

Now, if we were discussing Redguards, a race that is obviously supposed to represent those from a specific real life race due to their skin tone and features, then I wouldn't be sitting here scratching my head. People would have a valid complaint. But they're sitting there arguing over Argonians and to a lesser extent Khajiits who between them have no resemblance to any real life race other than wild animals or household pets. I get the Khajiit for example have an accent that can easily be attached to a specific region in the world, but it's not the accents that are even up for discussion. It's all truly bizarre. People don't find Lizards attractive, who'd have thought, huh? I don't fancy my dog, so that must mean I'm racist too according to some in here. Oh wait, my dog has 4 legs and hasn't been given a voice, two legs and 2 arms in some game, so that's missing their point no doubt.
