When will Zos learn? Instead of being anti zerg this armor is being used by zergs. Get enough people in the set and everytime the zerg comes across a smaller group it's either spread out and be picked off or stay close and get killed when the first person to die near you explodes and hits you for 13-15k with no chance of dodging the damage. Bottom line this set makes the game less fun, I run alone for the most part but still have to be near others when taking objectives and I'm not enjoying it that if some Vet 1 happens to be near me when they die it takes me out with him/her because of this set. Total fail.

A big zerg would have crushed the small group anyways. V Death set is an amazing counter to zergs and gave the small group a chance.

1. You are using the term exploit way out of context in this environment.
2. VD has a relatively small radius. 5M, I think? It's not hard to avoid. This is a L2Adapt issue.
3. If you can't function spread out, you are as bad as the blobs you wish proxy did a better job of wrecking.
4. VD gives a greater advantage to the small group than the big group as mobility is key and small groups are, in theory, easier to coordinate.

It's not hard to avoid other players. But breaking old habits can be.

Just block and dodge roll out if your group is stacking. If I see multiple proxy Det, that's what I do.

How destroy stamina builds? Normal give AOE magicka det + VD gear only light armor. This combo completly destroy stamina builds in pvp. No regen stamina in block, sprint, hide move, ZOS will remove stamina builds from game.

Because of this set I can play solo and actually have an impact in big fights. I can bring chaos and confusion as I do a driveby and blow up half the raid. FeelsGoodMan

This is the fail.. they are not balancing the game. They are making one thing better for 3 months then make the opposite better for the next threee months .. this isn't a fix nor a balance.. this is just simple wash, rinse, repeat and its a money maker for them seeing as they only make changes every few months

Which means that stamina will be completely overpowered for the next full patch cycle. It's never a "slight" nerf or buff, it's a meta dominated either by stamina or magicka. We just wait till the pendulum swings again.

VD doesn't just hit you after someone dies, it's bugged and you can explode at low health for the boom dmg.

Lost count of the amount of times I was alone, no other's around me and I went boom to VD at low health.

I can't believe that ZOS put an STD like VD in the game. It is apparently well on its way to being pandemic.

I think ZOS needs to add a penicillin injection skill to all healing trees immediately before all of Tamriel is infected.

Don't understand the problem, lots of guys doing that. Other PPL call huge zergs to defend Keeps and moving away after its saved that someone can get huge ticks for emperor.

Clearly, these actions aren't cheating or exploits. They take advantage of poor game design, with tacit blessing from zos. But they also make the emperor title a joke. They completely disrespect the idea of PVP. Using these methods to gain emperor displays quality of character. I'd never want the title if it meant most players considered me a joke.

However, the topic of the thread is impact of Vicious Death, before it got hijacked. It definitely is having an impact on the game, but PVP is still alive and well. I agree it is mostly a L2Adapt issue.

As long as many area effects will do more (or as much damage) as single attacks, there is something is wrong in this game!
The main culprits, which make PvP unbalanced, are in fact and without doubt: Magicka Detonation, Steel Tornado, some procs, and AoE synergies, which hit much harder than many single attacks (3--6k dmg bs 6-15k+ dmg..), many ultimates, a.s.o. (even the ways to gain ultimates were somethat unbalanced until ultimate-change, remember the old sorc/vamp-specs with unlimited resources, etc.)

This started long ago, in Summer 2014, when Steel Tornado was made OP. All buffs to weapon/spell dmg stacking, the removal of caps, the constant nurf and buff of siege weapons, are an indicator that the combat-balance is out of control.
Players just adapt but it's not their fault!

See this is the most since I've saw in awhile but people don't want to adapt they just want to cry and get things nerfed.

They said TG would be a balancing patch for everything see what they did buff Magica and Nerf stamina less patch it was pretty even between the two now it'd 90% magica 10% Stamina.Wrobel can't fix crap all he does is break the game.

Way to brag about being a shield stacking weenie. Don't get me wrong, you have skills and look to be a decent player. None-the-less, you are shield stacking and prob would not do nearly as well if you were not. It is vids like this that fuel the fire to nerf shields and have @Wrobel considering adding a cast time to shields.

Of course he won, and would have killed them regardless of class. If @Wrobel makes horrible changes it is because of his own mindset for the game whether good or bad.

Not saying Hardened Ward+Harness Magicka Stacking should be allowed to stack as effectively as it currently does, but a skilled/Max CP Emp should be very powerful.

Why does an ARMOUR set hit for 15K? Where is the skill in putting on armour? Just save up your gold and bomb. At least with ProxDet you had to WORK for it and PvP for hundreds of hours to earn it.

And now?

Damage needs to be dropped back to less than an ulti. And the bomber should die if it goes off, or have some other massive disadvantage (loose 80% health + all mag/stam). As it is, there is no TRADE-OFF for using such a powerful set. Where's the balance?
