Edit: something has to be wrong on your end for PvE to be unplayable. For PvP, the devs have never been able to figure out how to make it work with more than a few players in an area at a time.

I owe you an apology too. I usually have that annoying effect to *** off ppl, and I shouldn't have gotten into this argument. If you've unsubbed, that's your choice and like you I hope that Cyro gets some much needed love from ZOS

I haven't noticed any lag and the game is very playable for me. It is even playable in the new zone with 20 other players fighting the world bosses.

Nobody cares that you cancelled your sub. It's kind of like announcing loudly at a party where everyone is dancing and drinking away that you're storming out. Nobody cares.

However if all you enjoy in this game is PVP then I can see why you have cancelled. Stuff needs fixing and changing in Cyrodiil. Nobody has ever denied that. Not even the devs. But PVP makes up about 5% of this game. Which is a shame as I like PVP too. I want more objectives, I want some better server stability (even though I have rarely crashed etc in Cyrodiil.) Arenas and battlegrounds need to be a thing too eventually.

But this game will never be a hardcore PVP focused game. It'll always be an Elder Scrolls game first, and everything else second.

Lag in Cyrodiil though? They definitely know. They mention it every single ESO Live. They've stayed they're not waiting for the next DLC to push fixes through for Cyrodiil either.

Yup. I was running with a zerg the other day probably 40 players on the screen at peak in azura. Then in the trial and dungeons.

May go in the sewers tomorrow and see what else is going down.

Do you do anything but complain? Maybe check your internet and tell your family to get off netflix as the dial up struggles.

I am on PS4, was in the Vile Manse today. Was the only player in this dungeon, was fighting a boss and the game lagged and completely froze on me to the point i had to shut it down and restart the game. This never happened before TG and now i have had stuff like this happen 4-5 times since Wednesday and i dont play a ton either so i cant imagine how much its happened to some people who play more hardcore.

PvP will not go below 200 ping, and most times is 300+. Battles with any amount of players are unplayable - 999+. Skills firing late, animations not playing, not sure if I hit someone or what. TOTALLY UNACCEPTABLE!

PvE has also started lagging but stays mainly around 100 ping, depending on where I am and what I'm doing. I would say it's just barely playable at this point.

Other games, ping is around 50ms normally, and spikes up to 200ms at most.

TAKE OUT THE ANTI-BOT CODE ZoS - WE WOULD RATHER HAVE A PLAYABLE GAME WITH SOME BOTS RUNNING AROUND THAN THIS MESS!

I think I will never understand some people. A dissatisfied customer leaves a brief thread on the forums of a product, explaining why he is not giving them more money and the reaction is largely "useless thread, man, you shouldn't have made it".

I would think that there is, at the very least, some value in giving the feedback to ZOS as to why they lost money. Voting with one's wallet and then explaining that vote. Maybe ZOS will never see it, but this kind of thread popping up regularly will surely draw a little extra attention to it.

As for myself, since we're on the topic of feedback about unsubbing, I unsubbed a long time ago. Generally unimpressed with the amount of content, and its replayability, in the game, so it is not worth a sub for my part. And I'm going to have to be convinced to buy any more DLCs. That's on top of an ever increasingly unstable experience in PvE and PvP since launch.

I was surprised myself to be lagging while trying to level an alt I don't know what they did in that last patch I think they should go rerolland review what went wrong

Your insults make it sounds like mommy pays for your fast internet because she doesnt want to spend time with you. That being said, it's an accepted FACT that Cyrodiil is a lag fest. And my internet speed is 50mbps.

The community does care man.

There is a point to these threads. When there is enough people taking an issue with something on the forums, ZoS notices. Don't believe me? Watch 5 minutes into the ESO Live Yesterday.

They advertise Thieves Guild for the first 3 minutes. The next thing they cover is Cyrodiil lag. The next things after that are all things people have discussed a lot on the forums.

They are listening to their player base. Wether they are working on fixing the lag, or capable of it, remains to be seem.

PvE players deny the lag and flame PvPers for being crybabys at your own risk, from this date on out. It is is spreading.
