ESO needs to incentivize tanking

And by making the tank matter, right now i can 3 dps most dungeons and even 4 dps them...it makes me sad because dungeons are so fun and the power creep its messing with the game.

I even tank AA/HRC/SO trials in medium armor, only the new trial Maw of lorkhaj on veteran mode I need to use heavy armor.

i'm tempted to respec my tank for medium armor. i had no idea heavy armor was as bad as it is.

Eh, I dont really think it is about heavy armor sucking. The new content requires Heavy, Old content trial are v12 so it makes a big difference. You can tank in anything for most Vet dungeons if you like, it just matters having a good build for the gear.
