I hope Zenimax plans on changing up some of the animations to make them look a little better in the future. I know new content and crown store purchases are probably their #1 priority for making money, but I would love to see some changes to many of the overused and disappointing animations in the skill trees.
For example, I play a nightblade, and strife, agony, and cripple all look pretty much the same, along with their morphs. Then entropy and soul trap look the same along with their morphs. And some of the weapon abilities look terrible as well, like the one hand/shield puncture, low slash, and two handed critical charge. Most of these skills all look so lazily done by the developers. Maybe they intentionally made them look lack-luster with low special effects so that they could reduce lag in cyrodil, idk..but they look lazy.
Honestly when i first unlocked these abilities while leveling my nightblade I was pretty let down that these abilities all looked so....lame. It makes getting new abilities or getting new morphs less exciting than it should be, and thus character progression is a little less exciting.
I'm not asking for crazy GW2 particle effects or anything that fill up the whole screen, I would just like for the developers to fine-tune some of the lame, low production value looking skills. Maybe have the morphs look different too, apart from their icon on the skill bar.
