How to get Ruby Ash for Woodworking?

Ok so I'm level 50 in woodworking, there are plenty of nodes around for V16 silk and Ore, but in Orsinium and Alba's Landing all I see is level 1 node for woodworking. So how in the hell do you get ruby ash wood besides decon staves and shields lol? 5k Tel Var Stones gets me 104 ruby ash lol, doesn't make any sense. Am I missing something here?

✭yup got to have that passive in woodworking maxed out to get the goods.. you could always just go to IC in Cyrodiil and farm Telvar stones... oh wait that's right it's a PvP zone and you might get ganked..

Oh ok, It's maxed out on my Sorc but he's only V3 havent been to Alba's yet, only there on my v16DK. I used to be able to loot v14 wood on my dk with just the keen eye point. Guess they changed it.0 -

I go to IC to farm stones, Ive only just came back to the game 2 weeks ago, catching up on ***. Don't assume everyone is afraid of Pvp.0 -

In the zones where the enemies are a set level and you're not scaled up to VR15 if you're below that, you'll get unscaled nodes that give you mats of the same level as the enemies you'll find in the zone. So in your VR 8-10 zones, or in Craglorn for example, you'll always get nightwood, regardless of your crafting skill.
In the zones where the enemies are all max-level and you're scaled up to VR15 if you're below that level, you'll get scaled nodes that give you mats of the max level that character is capable of crafting. So your actual level in the crafting skill doesn't matter directly - just how many skill points you've put into the passive that determines what level mats you can use.
