Question regarding "new" champions points - Dot damage or elemental damage/mighty?

Hey,
I have a question, nobody of my guildies (ps4) can answer it, so maybe one of u guys can help me out.
the question is:
If I'm using a DOT, for example twin slashes or burning embers (stam version), will the damage be increased if I'm investigate points in the new "increase the damage from your damage over time effects" (thaumaturg) or mighty (increase physical damage), or both?
So my question is: How can I increase the DOTS now in champion points, only with the new one? So for example magicka DK's cant increase their dot dmg with elemental expert or will both, flame and dot damage, increase the dmg from dots?

✭✭✭Both, and it's probably a very good investment if you use those DK abilities! DKs have a lot of nice DoTs, but not so many physical ones, so if you spec in those you will like the result.
Though it's nowhere near as good as the few available poison DoTs.0 -
