Hi And afternoon All

I have been checking this Developer discussion topic since it began and it seems the DEVs have ignored us after the skills changes coming up for 16-24 months ….. which is Very poor and disappointing. - shows last time we had some sort of update from Dev's was October 2014

I even left the game and deleted my account over a year ago and came back just last month, to see little has improoved so though perhaps I can offer some constructive information in hopes Zos listen to us

Looking for some constructive and helpful reply's from the DEVS and Lycan Fans alike

PLEASE can we get some official word or input please!

We the lycan community aren’t even really asking for much but it seems this this game is more about transactions these days and DLC (even the lycanthrope skill line can now be Purchased) so over the last 30 days of playing my Lycan and seeing skills and morphs again I thought ok lets put some notes down and see what I can come up with and so :

Topics to discuss

1: Werewolf Transformation / Timer:

Suggestions:

- Increase Duration to something more suitable 90 seconds / 2 minutes (give us room to breathe or scratch the fleas) :smile:
- Increase Duration by 500/1000% when its night time or Lunar nights

2: Werewolf Skin models

As far as I am aware this has been asked about and commented on since Day Dot and we have been Very patient but no real movement or willingness by ZOS to change it.

1: Newly turned Lycanthrope model : Brown ish with aspects or grey/white

2: Berserker Lycanthrope model: Black Fur with White hands and red eyes (Perhaps even some more muscle mass)

Morph Effect 40% more bleeding Suggestion: - perhaps we can Add the consecutive speed buff back / Add a Building damage buff


3: Pack Lycanthrope model: White with Yellow Eyes

Suggestion - Add more [x] time to the morph so when you are near the Pack alpha and skills are used it adds 4/8/12 seconds per skill used


Can we see about getting this looked at / fixed in the next big patch please , I would even hazard a Crown store change would be agreeable to some people but we need this changed please


3: Skill morphs

Pounce - Pounce on an enemy with primal fury to deal [x] Physical Damage and stun them if they are off balance.

This by default "should be AOE based so please make it 3/6 targets

Brutal Pounce:

Current: Deals [x] damage to all enemies in area of effect.

Suggestion: Add a AOE Stun/knockdown please to the Skill please

Feral Pounce:

Current: Each use increases time in werewolf form.

Suggestion: make it more fitting add something like 11/12/13/14/15 seconds to the timer.


Hircine's Bounty - Invoke the Huntsman's blessing to heal yourself for [x] - This skill as it is is fine never had any issues with it

Hiricine’s Rage:

Current: Increases Weapon Damage for caster.

Suggestion: our damage in Werewolf form is good perhaps adding the frenzy buff to increase speed of consecutive attacks?


Hiricine’s Fortitude :

Current: Adds heal over time effect.

Suggestion add a Damage reduction for 8 seconds 15% Damage reduction which is more fitting for the “fortitude” part


Roar - Roar with bloodlust to terrify up to 3 nearby enemies, afflicting them with fear and setting them off balance for 4.3 seconds

Due to how this works I never really used this on my bar I never has the time to use it as the damage from werewolf form was good with medium armour buffs, Weapon/Stamina Buffs and Werewolf augments

Ferocious Roar:

Current: Killing feared targets leaves nearby allies off balance and disoriented.

Suggestion: Converts Fear into A stun/Knock down

Rousing roar:

Current: Weapon Damage of nearby allies

Suggestion: Increased attack speed of yourself and ** werewolf** allies by 15% for 8 seconds


Piercing Howl - Crush an enemy with a deafening howl, dealing [x] Physical Damage and knocking them down for 3 seconds

A good all round skill the only thing missing is some sort of AOE version, * would be nice if base skill did up to 3 targets in front of the Werewolf

Howl of Despair:

Current: Add Feeding Frenzy synergy which will increase our allies basic attacks.

Suggestion: Add a Snare to enemies movements for 8 seconds

Howl of Agony:

Current: Deal increased damage to enemies that are currently feared.

Suggestion: Add a Physical Bleed to the enemies

Infectious Claws: Maul enemies in front of you with your tainted claws, dealing [x] Physical Damage and an additional [x] Disease Damage over 10 seconds.

Good skill but it doesn't “maul” them it slashes them and infects them and makes the wound Fester, Good skill wouldn’t change it apart from adding 4-6 seconds

Claws of Anguish:

Current: Targets effected receive less healing

Suggestion: Targets do less damage for the duration of the Bleed 10-15% less damage


Claws of Life

Current: Gain heal over time based on damage done.

Suggestion: Increase Heal to 75% healing of damage


Passives:

Devour:

Current: Devour humanoid corpses to add 12 seconds in werewolf formation

Suggestion: Change this to a Finishing move where at 1-5% health Devour icon appears and kills enemy and restores 15-30 seconds Devour (10 Second CD)

Blood Rage:

Current: Increases time in werewolf form by 3 seconds every time you take damage. This effect can occur once every 3 seconds.

Suggestion: Increase Time in werewolf form by 12 seconds and generate 9 ultimate (12 seconds cool down)

Pursuit:

Current: Increases Heavy Attack Stamina return by 50/100%.

Suggestion: Add a small amount of Stamina regeneration 10-15%


Pack Master:

Current: Increases the duration of nearby allies' Werewolf Transformation by 10 seconds. / Affects up to 5 targets and stacks up to 5 times.

Suggestion: While within 12 meters add 6 seconds every 9 seconds to nearby werewolf timers while remaining near the Pack Master


Savage Strength: Rank 1 9%/ Rank 2 18% Weapon Damage Increase

Perfect as it is - think most people would agree this is a good skill

And as a last favour it would be nice if we could see some proper sets bonuses for the few sets we have which are good for "werewolf's" specifically

the one/two sets we do have only has one decent bonus to it (Salvation/Hide set )

    Ok, so unlimited WW uptime, and a bunch of buffs to an extremely powerful ultimate.

    I'm gonna be honest, and even my WW alt has but one word for this:

    NO.

    -> New skin models: OK
    -> New sets: OK

    All the rest is completely overboard.

Because an 8 k shield is f ing useless. Died because of baddies on the forum. Too much qq too little pew pew. 16 AD 2 DC. 0 EP cause they bad, CP 2300 plus 18 level 50 toons. NA, PC, Grey Host#SORCLIVESMATTER actually they don’t or they wouldn’t keep getting nerfed constantly.

    Nothing against you or anything, but your suggestions seem slightly (way too) overpowered and while good for the WW, it would be way too unbalanced compared to anything else.
    From my experience, WW is pretty strong in PvP. If I swap into WW form, I can stay in it for more or less how long the fights last (usually in bigger fights, 1v1 it's a bit tricky). WW hits already like a truck, they only thing I think they lack is a good selfheal. I find that magicka heal to be kinda meh. But other than that, they seem pretty well off for PvP. What you suggest would just make them into a massive monster of destruction, more so than they already are if well played.

    I don't know much about PvE, but I have seen some pretty impressive DPS videos with WW. But I am none to talk with my little to no experience on the PvE side of WW.

    Edit: One could argue that 300 Ult is too high. I think 200 or 250 would be more appropriate.

    I'll list the changes I think they could do that would be alright.

    1) Offer other variants (werecat, werecroc, werechicken, werebear, wereboar, etc).
    2) Allow Stealth in wolf form.
    3) If they change the way the timer works, they might consider making wolf form more like Overload in that it 'runs out'. You could still have it continue to passively recharge like it does (it would still run out, but let people mill about in wolf form like they want).
    4) I think they could stand to give human form perhaps a weaker version of the roar/fear or hircine's bounty. This would
    allow players to have the shapeshift ability on one bar, and another skill on the back bar and offer some interesting design choices. I've never been fond of skills having to be on both bars, and I really don't like toggles in an action game like this. I also think they could instead give human form the weakness and strengths of the curse.
    5) I think there should be a chance that you are forced to wolf out whether or not the skill is slotted on a bar (as long as you are unkillable during this transformation).

    Beyond that wolf form hits pretty hard and has decent weakness.

    Nah, werewolf is already super powerful and I've gotten used to devouring all the time to stay in beast mode for a very long time.

    My only gripe would be Beserker. Wish it looked different from normal werewolf, like how the Pack Leader one gets to be white. Can Beserker be black or something? If there was any change at all from normal gray werewolf to Beserker as far as aesthetic looks, I did not notice it at all when I did that final upgrade and it was a bit disappointing.

    I do like the execute move so that way people won't run and out heal you over the DoT bleed.

    I think WW is in a good place. Maybe the timer could a little longer but not by much. I also think the ultimate should be lower to 250-275. The thing i would want the most is a more natural de-transformation (not sure what you would call it) the de-transformation is almost like being stunned

    Take a look at the tormentor set (BoP set in one of the DLC dungeons). WWs already have one, and a potential AoE taunt.

    As for changes, black fur berserkers was *a discussion* and...just faded. The self heal should be stamina, there isn't a stamina vampire ability (maybe make it a HoT, a single heal might be a bit imbalanced). Some things here are great ideas OP, but balance is still important. Tone some of these down, and you're talking gold.

    WW..... is.... OP as it is now. Certain bosses in vMSA my stam DK completely relies on WW to burst down.. It seems what you are going for is extended time in WW form. If the community wants this, then the skills in the WW line are going to have to be toned down... a LOT. Especially piercing how. That thing hits like a ranged WB and has a knockdown attached to it. WW used to be bad, but after the latest changes, its actually in a really really good spot imo. But I do understand the frustration of charging up 300 ultimate and get to be in ww form for all but at most a minute or so...

    EDIT: altho it would be nice to have a taunt in the ww skill line. It would be so amazing to see WW TANKS!!!!!!!

    If you want all those things to happen to werewolves then to balance things out vampires will need a major buff as well.

    I don't agree entirely with OP but I do think he isn't entirely wrong either in some areas.

    WW should be a Toggle like Overload; think the majority can agree to this change.

    Berserker should be a different coloration from default WW form.
    - They also need to change the Bleed from this because as is, you constantly refresh it before it can really do much, if any, damage. Either Reduce the duration of the bleed, with a fair reduction to the damage to offset this, or change the effect entirely, such as granting Minor Brutality or Savagery.

    Pounce should be an AoE by default.
    - Brutal Pounce needs a buff because the AoE damage is outright pitiful. Either add a CC effect to it or up the damage significantly because right now it's beyond sad.
    - Feral Pounce should get added time based on targets hit.

    Devour should have a proc chance to instantly kill a low health target, similar to Sorcerer's Disintegration, added to the effect. It is almost impossible to keep WW form active for long without throwing yourself into a group of enemies and praying the healer can keep you alive and the slowly eating a corpse method cuts you out of fighting for a good bit of time so why not have a passive means of extending the timer that doubles as a pseudo execute.

    More WW sets really should be introduced as well. A nice set that reduces the cost of WW abilities would be great (and I mean ALL WW abilities, not just the stamina ones), increases the time of WW form or decreases the damage you take while in WW form would all be appreciated. Anything to help with Sustainability pretty much.

    I'm iffy on WW tanking. I mean, it's possible with the Tormentor set, (I've tried it and I enjoy all the ranting I get for it from PUGs) however, you have to make sure that enemies are a certain distance to reapply the taunt from pounce and have enough stamina to actually pounce so it's a bit tricky to get it down just right. (Still disappointed that Tormentor doesn't apply an AoE taunt with Brutal Pounce though).
