Magica nb sucks?
Is it just me or do they suck now? I have a stamina nb and he's a truck.So I leveled a magika nb and he sucks.....or do I? Lol Anyone point me in the right direction.

I find Magicka NB super fun to play.Just so that everyone knows, my Altmer still can't have black hair. About a dozen of Altmer NPCs in the game have black hair. Just saying.
Meet my characters:Command: Do the thing.
Zadarri, Khajiit Fist of Thalmor: The thing was done, as commanded.
Durza gra-Maghul, Orc blacksmith: The thing was done perfectly, in the most efficient way.
Tegwen, Bosmer troublemaker: You can't prove I didn't do the thing.
Sings-Many-Songs, Argonian fisher: Sure, I'll do the thing... Eventually. Maybe.
Aerindel, Altmer stormcaller: After extensive research, I've come to the conclusion that doing the thing would be a waste of resources.
Liliel, Dunmer pyromancer: Aerindel said I shouldn't do the thing. Something about "resources".
Gyda Snowcaller, Nord cryomancer: I will find a way to do it that won't waste resources and make Aerindel proud of me.
Beatrice Leoriane, Breton vampire: I persuaded someone else into doing the thing. You are welcome, dear.
Sahima, Redguard performer: Doing the thing sounds awfully unpleasant and really not my problem.
Ellaria Valerius, Imperial priestess: I'll pray to the Eight for the thing to be done, if it is Their will.2 -

Check out Sypher's builds then go from there.
It will give you a baseline to then adapt to yourself and how you want to play.

Only issue with them is inherent lack of shields(use bone shield/healing ward/light armor skill) and notoriously low resistances/survivability issues. Unless I've missed something along the way of course... To sum up a Mage blade quickly, Glass Cannon build. Very high damage output, very low ability to take/sustain damage.1 -

✭It's a specific play style Sypher is a bad example for you stop trying to do what he does. He used to play with vr11 stuff blue stuff purple stuff still kicked ass. He could probably play without armor and still kill most ppl. Because he and a handful of players can pull off unique stuff doesn't mean everyone can. Magic nightblade can be great in certain situations... In others it sorely lacks. You get caltroped and marked and ppl running detect pots you are in big trouble. ✭I like you OP you are a good guy, very few stamblades right now argue that they hit like trucks ( which they do ) so I salute you for speaking the truth.
Saying magblades suck though? meh I disagree and if you play EP or AD on EU servers you're welcome to test out if we do indeed suck...

Resipsa131✭✭✭Magblades can be good but the learning curve is pretty high and there are a couple different ways you can go about building and using them you need to figure out what you're trying to do and play around or make up for difficencies in the class. Mag blades are the worst at standing and fighting so you need to figure out how to get around this deficiency.Edited by Resipsa131 on March 23, 2016 2:55PM0 -

Why do people keep saying magblades have no survivability? This is simply not true at all. In PvE they have the most survivability considering their damage output and continuous self heals. I can tank a lot more with my magblade than I could with my Templar spamming puncturing sweeps while killing it faster. I can do all of this while keep magicka full with siphon and pot.
In PvP that's another ballpark. You basically have a sorc with only harness magicka/healing ward as shields and cloak for everything else. Depending on your playstyle some magblades are in fact just glass cannons hoping to kill you before they run out of resources or are discovered... or like my personal build I can stand and fight without the use of cloak and sustain with the best of them. It's just a matter of knowing in game mechanics and being comfortable and familiar with your build and skills/tactics being used against you.Server: PC - North America - Daggerfall/Ebonheart

You should change your 2 seducer for 2 more Magnus as you would then get 3 bonuses instead of 2 for the same slots 1 of them being a damage buff

20k + dps single target is easy on a magika nb. Much improved over the earlier game. Aoe dps is good as well.
One previous post has good thoughts on changing your head though mine differ

Fire staff in one bar
2 torug pact swords on aoe bar.
3 jewelry willpower set all with spell damage.
If you do not have the monster set mentioned 2 of anything that give magika at 2 pieces.

lol, nice nice, befora patch I wast only on stamina and was so good, very liked this, now after patch I dont know how t play on stmaina NB ;/ I suck as never before when on magica with some aversion Im playing now much efficiency
