i am guessing between 1800 and 2500. it is going to be expensive because everyone wants it. it would be more fun if you had to do a quest for it from the thieves guild or something. but well. Zos wont make any money out of it then. yet it would force people to buy TG or subcribtion. So why not zos?

I'm hoping more for 1000, but who knows with ZOS' outrageous markups... could turn out to be 5000 just to make it 'exclusive' and keep regular merchants and bankers viable.

Guess is 5k crowns (if Zos is smart about it) for an assistant since it is a very nice perk. Certainly will not be less than 2500.

This one believes that it would be better to set a lower price and to get many more sales than to set the price too high and put off the customers.

If khajiit compares the price of travel to new places, mounts etc then Santie believes about 1500 crowns is the maximum she would charge in this case.

However khajiit believes that ZoS perhaps sometimes has not shown the same grasp of merchantship as this one has.

woah.....At most it should be around 1500 crowns at a max.....consider the entire DLC is at the 2000+ range
You're basically saying the assistance should cost between $20 - $40....lets rethink that logic.

    I disagree passionately

While it might be nice to have an Assistant, it is not something I am willing to pay all that much real world money for. Going to the Bank or finding a Merchant is not that arduous. Leveling a Horse? That's arduous, and it took a Crown Sale at 50% off the Crowns, and 50% off the riding lessons, before I bought 3 packs of lessons for a mule.

So, for me, 1000 Crowns is the max amount I would pay for an Assistant.

Banker assistant can't access guild bank, merchant assistant can't repair gear.

They are not convenient enough to justify a high price, in my opinion.

What I like about them is that they open the possibility for more in the future. I hope the DB has another assistant for us.
Just so that everyone knows, my Altmer still can't have black hair. About a dozen of Altmer NPCs in the game have black hair. Just saying.

    Meet my characters:
    Command: Do the thing.

Zadarri, Khajiit Fist of Thalmor: The thing was done, as commanded.
Durza gra-Maghul, Orc blacksmith: The thing was done perfectly, in the most efficient way.
Tegwen, Bosmer troublemaker: You can't prove I didn't do the thing.
Sings-Many-Songs, Argonian fisher: Sure, I'll do the thing... Eventually. Maybe.
Aerindel, Altmer stormcaller: After extensive research, I've come to the conclusion that doing the thing would be a waste of resources.
Liliel, Dunmer pyromancer: Aerindel said I shouldn't do the thing. Something about "resources".
Gyda Snowcaller, Nord cryomancer: I will find a way to do it that won't waste resources and make Aerindel proud of me.
Beatrice Leoriane, Breton vampire: I persuaded someone else into doing the thing. You are welcome, dear.
Sahima, Redguard performer: Doing the thing sounds awfully unpleasant and really not my problem.
Ellaria Valerius, Imperial priestess: I'll pray to the Eight for the thing to be done, if it is Their will.

My $.02.... How many times have we been in a dungeon raid where it's wipe after wipe, everyone needs to repair armor/inventory is full/I'm out of soul gems/I have no more food.... Then the waiting game is played while everyone leap frogs back to "home" to sort out their issues. All of that is done in 2 minutes, and without leaving. Also, level grinding. You can only grind mobs for so long before your inventory is tapped out, and there are all of those shinies littering the floor.... I for one am quite ready and willing to pay for long term convenience.

That is about the only reason I can see to use an Assistant. However I have lots of bag space, and make sure to empty my bags of crafting mats and whatnot before I go grinding in earnest. So, by the time my bags are full I am ready for a short break.

I'm with Nestor on this one. This game has way too many cities with bank access and merchants for inventory managing as well as very well situated wayshrines to fast travel anywhere. An assistant while it's not an overall bad idea, because it's "convenient" to have, it's not THAT necessary and shouldn't be overpriced.

Also, it would be nice if they sneaked when we were sneaking only. I hate how the TG assistant is always sneaking.
