With all this FOTM NB Proxy Det build, I think the other morph is overshadowed.
Is Inevitable Detonation any good? Can it be cast on multiple targets?

No, it does damage if purged or something.
Only build I might put it on is a sorc. Everything else I'm up close with anyway. Not running it on my sorc currently anyway. Don't feel the need.

Exactly what I was thinking, Proxy Det only works for close range. But imagine spam casting Inevitable Det into a zerg (the tooltip does not say that it can only be cast on one target at a time.)

It's a fantasy MMO. You may have to suspend some disbelief.

The same reason why Vampires no .longer receive full benefit of speed in Sneak from Night's SIlence:
As in broader society, loners (violent or non-violent) are looked down upon,
but mass murderers and terrorists make headlines.
People sneaking seems to somehow offend a portion of the playerbase -- people complain that Nightblades "don't fight fair" if they attack from Stealth, and having a Vampire move quickly when not in combat broke da merjunz.
Being in a crowd and AoEing (even if it starts from a stealth bomb) looks big and flashy though.

What did they do to vamp sneak speed?

It used to be that a Vampire wearing Night's Silence with Concealed Weapon slotted moved faster than default ( 0 pieces of Medium Armour) Sprint speed, and faster than some horses with minimal speed increase on them.
If the Vampire remained completely undetected and did not engage in combat, he or she could traverse maps quite quickly and stealthily, though they could not keep pace with a fully speed-fed horse.
If the Vampire was Detected by any source, or made an attack of any kind, he or she would lose the benefit of the five piece set, and travel at regular Sneak speed, until out of combat again.
People complained it was overpowered in PvP, and that it looked silly to see a supernatural creature traveling so quickly.
Realistically speaking, it was just easy for ZOS to get away with nerfing because it impacted mainly loners that avoided combat, as it was not a good combat set.
Now Vampire no longer receives any benefit from the set whatsoever -- the Vampire passive and Night's Silence (also Shadow Dancer's Raiment) simply overwrite each other.

I use to be one of those loners Vamp Night Silence players that avoided PvP battle completely. I played PvE zones in PvP avoid everyone that I could once I was spotted in game it was all over for me. When ZoS negated that ability I went 180 degrees in the opposite direction. I bought the absolute best gear I could find and upgraded it. I spend most of my time still doing PvE in PvP but instead of running I spend most of my time hunting other players.
