How do we fix the lag in cyrodiil ? When literally 100s to 1000s of different players from all over the world come onto the same server doing what they are doing causing more stuff to happen on the server.

Uhm , you might like paying for stuff that does not do what it should do , but i personally do not . Now let zos try to put them in the customers shoes . We buy a game , to relax and the oppisite happend . i bought the dlc for my xbox1 i have 270mbs up/and download and yet the lag or fps or whatever it is ,it looks like an old slapstick movie and it makes me head hurt my eyes go crazy and that is every where now . a loading screen while walking thru glenumbra is wrong , so yeeah i tel them . i dont care if the get crumpy because they made mistakes and i wil not compliment them on fixing bugs . . . its there fault it needed fixing in the first place .Forestd16b14_ESO wrote: »OK know what to every one who has been posting these rage post about the lag put your self in ZOS shoes and ask your self that question.

Yeah, lets just shut up about it like ZOS wants us too and let them keep *** us! Yeah, lets not complain about this horrible problem that's been going on for a year! Yeah, lets just say *** it to pvp and just let the lag destroy any fun we might have!Smileybones wrote: »OP is this your first day on these forums ? You remind me of Bart Simpsons harrassing Homer "Gimme gimme gimme gimme gimme gimme".
Not saying that lag doesn't need a fix, but you guys are not achieveing anything .

The lag in Cyrodiil has been going on for almost two years now. If ZOS had any intention of fixing this serious issue they would have by now. It's my opinion they could care less about the Cyrodiil issues and have a mind set that players will just have to put up with it. My reasoning behind the above comment is this:
Ask yourself, How many times have you seen ZOS even respond to the thousands of lag comments and post in the forums?
Then ask yourself how many times have you seen any attempted fixes to any of the Cyrodiil issues in any patch or update.
When I say attempted fixes I am referring to, lag, low fps, 1000 plus ping rates, crashes to desktop, game freezing on non responsiveness, rubber banding and now audio issues. Now some folks will defend and say its the players system that needs to be updated but then I will say, if they are not experiencing the same issues in PvE then its on ZOS's end and always has been. Nuff said..............................................

Nope, he is quite right, you achieve nothing here. If you wanted to fix the lag, you could try making notes of as much as possible when you get heavy lag and when you get low lag. And the braindead answer of 'people and skills' is just as useless. Want to fix your game, use youre brain not your emotional crying. ZoS is a small team, testing and finding problems takes time and resources.

Hmm. Maybe they could just REVERT ALL THE TERRIBLE GAME BREAKING PATCHES and bring the game back to where it did actually work.
PvP used to work fine with 3x the population of what we have now. Here are some examples from early 2014.
Giant battles AOE and PFX everywhere. No lag.https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1vmmQVheKOk
Skip to 2m 9s. Just look at those numbers!!! This was before pop caps were reduced. No lag.https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-DV9TwsosyI#t=2m9s
More massive battles. No lag.https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SUzFW0Y11BM
Pre-emptive argument to hamstring the revisionist history apologists: NO, the performance wasn't better back then because people weren't using aoe, and didn't have max level characters. That argument has no merit. There are plenty of aoe effects, (talons, negate, steel tornado) that you could get very early on and the game didn't lag even in AOE spam. One of the later PvE patches killed PvP. Not aoe. Though having not aoe caps initially probably helped performance too.
