In response to the ongoing issue, the ESO Store and Account System have been taken offline for maintenance.

Can we please fix the guild store mails? Been like this since the first day.

I buy something the mail doesnt show up. I have to either zone out of the area or log out and back in to get the mails. Shouldnt they just show up like all other mail?

What is weird is that usually the first item you buy gets mailed to you immediately. All items purchased after that do not get mailed unless you relog or change zones

Haha, I've noticed this as well. Odd indeed.

Sometimes mails are coming fast, sometimes need more time, it seems to be an unique ESO feature but quite easy to get used to. If you have MM installed you can realise how many transactions are made between players since your last log.
I'm not an expert but I suppose that delay in receiving emails is intended and helps to keep the overall game performance on specific level, when some drastic change in this could increase the game lag. Probably the more people online in a zone, the more time is needed to process all correspondence.

PC EU (PL): 14 characters. ESO player since 06.08.2015. Farkas finest quote: "Some people don't think I'm smart. Those people get my fist. But you, I like."

This cannot possibly be the answer. Why would simply logging or zoning then show the emails? They are being sent immediately just the UI isnt recognizing it so it doesnt show you have any mail. Zone or relog and boom there it is. Sent when you bought the item.

Also at least for me its just guild store emails. All other emails show up immediately when people send them.

When I go to a guild vendor to look for something - it is a mat to craft writs.
That means I want it now.
I mean - I can wait 45 minutes and my guild purchase wont show up, but a relog shovels it to me right away.

So... logging out and back in to get the email 'sooner' puts less load on the server?
I wonder if they'd 'fix' it sooner if everyone just relogged after every purchase from now on.
We already do that half the time in the bank anyway.

If they slow the game down any more than it already is - I suspect I'm not the only one who would send sub money to a different game.

And I further suspect there are other issues involved anyway.

The problem with society these days is that no one drinks from the skulls of their enemies anymore.
