Yeah, I am bored

I have been playing this on xbox one after I pre ordered it, so since it came out. I am now Vet 15, finished the Gold, Orsinium story and Maelstorm Arena (phew). I dont have a single ruby or whatever for crafting armor and there is not much to do in terms of PVE. I have done some PVP and killed over 100 people, but that PVP feels meaningless for some reason.
I hear that Thieves guild is a screw up and I never liked that aspect of the game anyways.
So, I know this is just ranting but I don't know, up until like a week ago, I could not do without this game and now I dont even wanna touch it.
So, any advice on what to do?

Did you do all the dungeons? Did you try out trials? Did you complete Maelstrom on vet mode? The option of rolling an alt s also always there of course :P

Honestly? This. Unless you need to be online for your guild, or something like that, the best advice is usually to take a break when you feel like you're going to burn out.

You're doing this for fun. So don't keep doing it when the fun stops.

And, if it is still fun but you're just getting tired of endgame, then, yeah, try running up an alt in a different class. (Assuming you haven't already.) Or even just try focusing on a different spec for your own class.

Another thing is, sometimes, boredom in an MMO is just not having people around to BS with and enjoy your time. Players really are the content, when it comes to MMOs. So, it might just mean finding a guild that appeals to you, so you can make new friends, and find your fun that way.

In the end, it's up to you, and if you're really feeling like you're going to burn out, no one's going to judge you for taking some time away from the game. We all do that at one time or another (myself included).

He's on the XBone, TG isn't out for them yet. IIRC it drops on Tuesday.

I am also a bit bored with the game, but what keeps me coming back is challenging fights... and most of all when it is group play with TS. So, I guess the best thing about the game now for me is the social side... while in battle.
PC NA DC 4eva! I try my very best. If it is not good enough for you too bad! Playing off and on since April 2014 CP2009.

Maelstroem arena is not part of TG DLC. It came with Orsinium.

Honestly, and I say this as an early beta player and long time sub, the game is getting really boring. The crown store pull is getting stronger with every patch, great players and fun guilds are leaving due to bad PR and better games coming out, bugs that have been around since launch are starting to wear the patience of even the most dedicated ESO player.

I only get on for RP reasons and to tend to the guild, lately. Ever since 1.7 nailed dueling to the wall, I've just been coasting through pvp waiting for something to happen. I've just now unsubscribed and don't think I'll be resubbing.

I don't think the game is getting boring, I think you're getting bored by the game, which is normal after two years. Everything has a beginning and an end - except circles - but "going around in circles" is the definition of boredom.
You've consumed the incredible amount of fun the game had to offer, that's all. Don't blame the game it's over.

This exactly. MMOs tend to hold people if the dev is lucky for about a year. There is always a flow of people leaving and a flow of people coming in. ESO sold almost 100,000 copies across all platforms just in February. If you are bored with the game stop playing it.

The game is what you make it. There is always something to do if you are willing to look. The only way to be bored is to stop looking. With that said, burnout does happen. Sometimes a break is needed. The right guild makes a huge difference.

Slow down and enjoy the game.Take time to run around for the fun of it.Go somewhere and dont do quests.Just gather mats or hunt for Troves.
GAet into a wuest that will ladn you in a world of hurt.So much so that you have to fight your way out of it.
Remove some of that V16 gear, and take everyone that is red.

Thing is there are people out there who have been playing WoW for a lot longer than a year or two.I dont mean to bring up WoW but it is an excellent example for this. Many keep going, like the energizer bunny,..on and on.Lol!

Some of my characters I just level, while for others I actually pay attention to the story. Males it less confusing.

There are so many great games to play. I can't get bored with ESO because I regularly take breaks to play other games, like The Witcher 3, FO4. I just picked up NBA2K16 and MyCareer is always a time sink.

This so much. The last thing I'd ever say as a Gamer is that "I'm bored"

New games are always on the horizon, so even if I feel my interest in a game wane, I know I have many options to choose from to keep things fresh. And if I ever stop playing an MMO for a time, I can always come back (Untill it closes, of course. But such is life. Nothing lasts forever)
