Unable to initialize render device

Exactly as title says, start the launcher up, hit play and that pops up with a black screen. Game will not load. I am using a brand new Nvidia GTX 960. My drivers are up to date, and my directx is using DX11. Any ideas on how to fix this?

    Identical errors happened to me several times Saturday night on EU, although with an AMD Radeon graphics card running with the latest Crimson Hotfix drivers.

    Same problem game is unplayable but whatever.

    Unable to initialize render device????

    Fix the dumb game even Black Desert no matter how much the game sucks plays.

    Didn't happen until recent updates.

    And yes I have a Direct X 11 Graphics Card.

    Wooky, did you find a solution? I posted a thread regarding the same issue. Couldn't fix it yet.

    They should have made it backward compatible with d3d9.
