Destruction staff animation canceling

The animation canceling with this staff has been bugged or Zenimax has purposely nerfed animation canceling with the destruction staff.
First crit rush now destruction staff heavy attacks. This is ***. Please FIX THIS ZENIMAX!

Would you care to elaborate what's the problem? Do you mean to say that animation cancelling has been removed from destro staves?

Are you talking about medium weaves with destro staff?

Because if so then yup, I have noticed it too and I have seen others mention it.
Basically a lot of the time the medium weave from the staff won't fire even though the actual animation plays.

It's very annoying and it's an issue that cropped up with Thieves Guild.

Yes Lore_lai medium weave has been purposely nerfed or is bugged. It is horrible now.

The trick is to use a very short medium attack and not to start it until the very end (last 1/10th second) of the GCD.

The timing of medium weaves has changed a bit. It is a little wonky until you get used to it. Light attack cancelling still seems to work smoothly.

Goes to show why my weaves were *sometimes* working.

Is there any chance this is considered a bug and it's reverted to the way it was pre-TG?
