Hello there. I'll get straight to the point, back when I played Skyrim I loved playing as an Illusion Thief. I would use Illusion spells like Invisibility, Muffle, and Charm to avoid combat, to the point where I only had to kill when I was force to in order to progress in a quest. I recently returned to this game after hearing about the Thieves Guild expansion, and I'm having a blast so far. However, I face one problem that I used to have back in Skyrim as well, NPCs staring into your eyes the second you break into a house, do they ever sleep? I used illusion spells, (and mods that could force NPCs to sleep with spells/tools) in order to work around this.
There's no way to do that here, you just have to take the bounty. While this isn't game-breaking or anything, it is annoying.
So yeah, I was just wondering if Illusion magic (in the form of sleep, charm, calm, fury, etc.) will ever be a thing in this game? Vampires could use it to feed off of friendly NPCs without consequences (if they can't already). And with the Thieves Guild having become a reality, I believe it would truly be a great addition to the Thief play style.
Edit: Might as well make a few suggestions since I already created a thread. Short version: I'd like illusion magic as a quality of life thing as I steal everything in Tamriel worth more than 40 gold. Like Charm, Calm, Sleep, and a Memory Wipe (removes bounty given to you by the target NPC in the last minute). Something like that.
