FPS halving close to Abah's Landing

I've getting 60 FPS (vertical sync enabled) in most of Hew's Bane but it's dropping away significantly in Abah's Landing; I'm getting around 30 FPS. I don't need to enter the city for the FPS to drop, anywhere in sight of the walls is enough.
There are a lot of folk in the area but I have no significant drop in a mass of players at a boss site, it's just around the city and it seems a lot worse than in cities in other zones.
My card isn't top notch, just a Nvidea 760 but it's backed up with an i7 and plenty of memory. I'm currently using the 32bit client as the constant audio glitches in the 64 bit one have put me off it for now!
