Since the Thieves Guild patch, I've been noticing the server lagging. And today, it's just gotten progressively worse to the point I can barely do combat without the game nearly lagging me out. This is happening pretty much everywhere, and I'm pretty sure it's not my ISP doing it. Yesterday evening (at this time), they had to do emergency maintenance. And today I can pretty much do everything else without lag.. nothing like this.
One of my guildies, I literally got into a hostile argument there (didn't enjoy it). They're saying my computer's 'at fault' when it clearly isn't. At least, I hope it isn't. Occasionally, the ping shoots up to 999+, and isn't affecting my FPS in any way.

OS: Windows 7 Hume Premium 64-bit (SP1)
CPU: AMD FX 4350 Quad-Core (4.20 GHz)
GPU: NVIDIA GTX 750Ti
RAM: 8GB

    For me, the TG expansion was like "no-more-lag", since then the lag and stuttering in display after few game hours was gone. But after the latest patch this stuttering came back after about 1 hour. Some describe it as lag, some as stuttering, I'm not sure which of those too happens. But it should not happen in Alik'r Desert where people are not scouting areas in great numer. PvE ofc. And similar PC.
    I guess it's a server issue, not our PCs.

    I see this as classic server lag. Studdering would be FPS issues, which is 'easily' fixable by getting better hardware (but not everyone can afford to upgrade), or lowering their graphics settings.
    Studdering would not have me running in place when doing my charge attack as a DK, or having the enemy NPCs not fighting until about 5-10 seconds when the game catches up.
    This is server lag.

    It seems to come and go every minute or two. Sometimes I'm fine. All I know is a day ago, it was lagging but not as bad. Now yesterday it's gotten to the point I can barely play.

    EDIT: ... It turns out it is my ISP causing the issue. A day ago, I was playing and my cable modem went down without warning, and they said it was 'emergency maintenance' they had to preform (yet didn't tell me the reason for it). So I have to wait 'till Saturday to get a tech guy here to get it looked at.

    This thread can be closed. It's no longer (was really never) an issue with ZoS' servers.
