The Guild Trader...

I am fairly new to this game, I bought it at launch for ps4 and quit when I found out there was no text chat. I have now came back because they are implementing text chat very soon. So now as I am leveling up i am trying to buy a lvl 18 lighting staff, but I cant find one anywhere. I spent what I felt was way too long trying to find this low level item that I can not craft yet.
Will there be a global auction house, this guild trader system is so stupid and inefficient. Has there been anyword on this issue?

Anzriel✭✭✭✭Yes it has been mentioned. Global auction house isn't happening. Also it at least "appears" (in other words completely a subjective assessment) most people are fine with the guild trader system, even if it needs some tweaks.Edited by Anzriel on March 17, 2016 3:32AM0 -

It may simply be a playstyle thing. Personally I'm fine with guild traders even if I feel it needs adjustment in some areas. Other, like yourself, probably just hate the idea as a whole.0 -
baratron✭✭✭✭✭To be fair, the lack of text chat on the console versions is a big part of the problem. PC users can just ask in /zone for someone to make them a staff.
Also, Guild Traders become a lot more functional with addons - which again aren't available on console.Guildmaster of the UESP Guild on the North American PC/Mac Server 2200+ CP & also found on the European PC/Mac Server 1700+ CP

There is some truth to that. I'm on PC, but I've always said consoles should get some add-on support and different functionality for guilds and all that since it is a different platform, with different needs. I don't believe they'll gain that sadly.0 -
