Running 4 Titans and complain about power usage? I'm speechless ...
Two words..... Solar Panels......
From the looks of your rig....you can afford to get them.....

This disclaimer, herr OP, does not cut it and you're getting a proper scolding over this. You cannot build yourself a rig of that intense cost, a rig that you designed to take a lot of power to run due directly to said standards and intense cost you chose, and then complain about the tiny cents on the dollars difference in power usage. I get it that it adds up to the dollars that make a few hundred by the end of the year but no one on ESO told you to gear up for the 2016 LoL/Starcraft qualifier tournament. And stop right where you're at with the CAPEX or OPEX cost. This isn't a business in which you're budgeting revenue against operation cost. This is a hobby you're doing for fun. Nuff said.
Asking ZoS to revert to the lowest common denominator because of a rig that you set up knowing that it would be demanding on power usage is nonsense. Straight nonsense. Get outta here with that skulking skeever snip.

Also, what this guy said. If you're so concerned over power, how about you be sustainable and minimize your carbon footprint while you're at it, huh? This suggestion would solve all your problems you know.
I suggest building your own panels. They're easy to do and its much cheaper than contracting a company to come in and build them for you. If you live in Florida you'll hit legal road blocks because [reasons]. Other than that you should be good to put them up and there's plenty of online guilds on how to do it.

My card is still chilling in dx11, it rather has less load thanks to a earlier CPU limt. Maybe something with the driver and/or SLI is wrong?NeoXanthus wrote: »When the game was in DX9 mode the cards ran at about 50% usage each and the FPS was between 90 and 100fps (capped at 100 with FRAPS.) When the game was in DX9 mode the cards ran at about 50% usage each and the FPS was between 90 and 100fps (capped at 100 with FRAPS.) My power supplies for the system are dual 1500 watt and a single 750 watt. They all connect into a L6-30 twist lock PDU that supplies only 220v power. The wattage is measured at the wall when the game was in DX9 mode it was around 1220 watts with about 100 watt in variances. Now is DX11 mode FPS are around 35 to 50 although with GSYNC all still looks great, but the video cards are at 99% usage and my wattage measured at the wall is 1870 watts with about 150watt in variances. That is about a 650 watt increase.
When the computer was in DX9 mode:
Winter cost is about $0.13 an hour
Summer cost is about $0.16 an hour
Computer in DX11 mode:
Winter cost is about $0.21 an hour
Summer cost will be about $0.32 an hour
Not to mention the air-condition works harder when the computer is putting off more heat, and with the ridiculous grinds in this game this is going to get expensive. Yeah, yeah, I know this system was very expensive 2+ years ago but that is CAPEX not OPEX cost. You should have a choice to change it back to DX9.
